What are your hobbies?

Post by Nichole » Fri May 16, 2008 7:05 pm

Sometimes dieting becomes so much of a focus that it's easy to forget that we ARE doing other things. So I was wondering, fellow No-Ser, what is it that YOU like to do as a hobby?

I like to:
Paint
Draw
Play music (clarinet)
Cross-stitch
Read

I like to paint and read, most of my books concern my Faith, but I love Elizabeth Peters novels, hubby and I like fishing, crabbing and trawling. Cooking is a nice "hobby" that I do when I am off, usually try something new. God Bless.

CatholicCajun: Did you ever read The Serpent on the Crown? It's actually the ONLY Elizabeth Peters book I've "read" (I am an audiobook addict and it was on CD at my local library). I admit I really liked it!

Ah, yes... enjoying life!

Post by ThomsonsPier » Mon May 19, 2008 9:34 am

My hobbies include, in no particular order;

Chinese martial arts
cookery and eating
reading and writing
theatre (viewing, backstage and acting/singing)
film watching
playing the guitar badly
gaming, both computer and board
comedy clubs
walking

I don't think of spending time with friends as a hobby, as such, more as just living. I'm also planning some more education in the near future, more out of interest than for any specific purpose. I like to find the enjoyment in everything in life.
