Naeman's Check-In

Right now, I'm counting streaks. I want to get to a 66 day streak in all three N day habits before I see how much weight I have/haven't lost and see where I need to go from there. I'm hoping that even if No S isn't the thing that helps me lose weight, it's the thing that will give me a sane baseline...

I've had a lot of similar problems to the ones you described. I have tried splitting the habitcal tracking into separate habits, like you mentioned. So far I've enjoyed the shift in mindset that has come from it. If I mess up and have an ice cream bar at work, I mark it as either a snack or a sweet,...

I left because I had trouble sticking to the habits, and even when I did for a month or so I tended to maintain instead of lose. I came back because nothing else has worked for me. I've been in a somewhat frantic state of feeling hopeful about a new diet, giving up after a week or two, and then feel...

Back again for the umpteenth time it feels like! I left for the same old reason. I got discouraged when my S days were out of control and my weight didn't go down after a month or so. I'm back because other things didn't work, and at least No S gives me 5 days of mental peace. Maybe I can figure out...

Re: NoS and Binge Eating Disorder

Because of my disorder, I simply could not allow myself full S-days because they triggered severe binges. My mod for my binge-eating disorder is I have a special dessert every sunday after dinner and I only have full S days on holidays/special occasions. It works for me and I don't feel deprived be...

Well I've had a pretty rough holiday season! I fell off the wagon pretty hardcore. But I'm back and ready for another shot. It's more than a bit depressing to come to the end of another year of trying diets heavier than I've ever been in my life. I'm creeping closer to 300 pounds, which just doesn't...
