I'm hanging in there. 4 unsuccessful days in March. I'm not calorie counting as closely as I was before, so my loss is very slight, if at all. Time will tell. I'm trying not to make too many changes at once. For now, I'm focused on just following No-S. Anything more is just a plus. Happy April every...

SUCCESS
I had a better week this time, after not doing so well. I can feel a difference when I eat better.

I wanted to make a note that I'm extra dedicated to NoS this upcoming week. My spouse is going to be on a business trip for a few days... and I really want to stick to things, and not eat a bunch of junk since I'll be home alone. I also have a habit of doing really well for a couple months, then dro...

FAIL
Okay okay, I spoke too soon.
Get it together heliz!

NoS is going okay, but I've been having one more drink a night than I should be. I know that can escalate for me, if I'm not careful.
Staying focused. Being mindful.

FAILURE Oops, not the best last day of the month. Overall, I had 3 slip-ups for my first full month on the S-diet. Even with the slipups, I'm feeling a difference. I actually jogged some distance with my dog, up an incline. The increased walking is paying off. And my dog loves it too. I don't feel ...

Good For the past 3 weeks I've been sticking to 2 meals a day, and it seems to be working okay. It's natural for me since I'm rarely hungry in the morning, and I prefer to have a bigger meal at the end of the day. I figure that still fits into No-S, as long as I'm not snacking. Apparently this is a...

Anyone doing any youtube video logs about their S diet journey? I'm thinking of doing one, but I'm not sure yet.
I see a few older ones on youtube, but just curious if anyone here is currently doing one.

Absolutely Rawcookie! Having "little fails" are almost positive in that they aren't the large ones they used to be. :) I'm trying to keep my S-days from going full S crazy. It made last Monday more difficult. I still somewhat count calories, only because I'm trying to get a handle on what a good portion size looks like. But yeah, there is no way it's going to be a long-term sustainable thing. No-S does seem great for long-term. That's interesting that you feel pressure not to ruin it for others by not ea...

Wow, that's really great Rawcookie that you started changing your diet, as soon as you saw the problem. A lot of people (me included) wish they hadn't waited so long. Certain foods, especially high protein (meat) and chocolate, I just never feel like I've had enough. If I wait 30min. I'll start to f...

Personally I think there needs to be a balance. I feel the same way about smokers basically. I see no problem putting advertisements talking about the health dangers. And I think people should be kindly discouraged from smoking (or being fat). Which can be tricky of course. But I don't think smokers...

It is an interesting idea, but I put it in the fad category and definitely not long lasting. If you need to lose weight fast for an acting part, or to meet weight class, that would make some sense to me. But for those of us just looking to get a better relationship with food, and eating right for ye...

Lately I've been eating the same breakfast and lunch everyday (mostly). I've been doing this for about a month. I have coffee and sometimes a piece of fruit (1/2 banana usually), for breakfast. Nice work managing food at work! That's a tough one for me sometimes. One of my officemates was offering up cookies once. Fri. Feb 10th

This week has gone really well. SUCCESS I tend to skip breakfast, and just have coffee with a splash of milk. So far, that hasn't bothered me. I eat a smaller lunch while at work, and a cup of tea later if needed. Then have a larger dinner. I was able to avoid snacks, but I realized how many times I...

Anyone else not able to add an avatar? I see some people have them, but not many. So I'm probably not the only one.
I'm trying to add a .jpg. Its the right size, with the right file size.

I'm guessing it was probably discontinued by the owner.

You can change it manually for the post you are currently looking at.

Go to the bottom of the page.

Heliz' daily/weekly check-in

Day 1: I've been working on eating more sensibly, by not overeating my daily calories, for the past few weeks. I tried to simplify things by eating the same breakfast and lunch, so I only have to count dinners. But that is becoming quickly annoying. Today I start "No-S", and will try ditching the c...
