You know how when you learn something that really lifted you up and brought happiness you just have to share it, especially with those within your family and friends.....it was with that spirit. But as everyone posted here it is taboo....learned something new with that one!!! I will simply enjoy the...

We started about the same time

Glad to hear how well this is working, and notice how happy you sound!! Nothing worse than feeling deprived and crabby. I still have some "carb" fears but it's lessening. Welcome !!!

I posted at the Atkins Diet Bulletin Board

I shared this morning about the No S Diet and it's principles, and how a person could use the no s strategy while using atkins, and was asked why I was introducing another diet plan on their boards. The idea of grazing all day was disregarded by saying our body needs snacks and small meals all day r...

Encouraging

Thanks Jennzenn, it really is amazing how hard it is to move beyond some of the learned habits of former diets.....I will remember the marshmallow story when I start to doubt . :) I

How much weight have you lost?

:D I just started Feb. 20th and I have already lost 5 pounds just by following the plan, I think the no snacks is really the key for me that and no sugar. It is so easy compared to low carb counting, at times I get scared that I will gain alot, but my scale doesn't lie....I know I can do this the re...

I haven't had wine or beer in ten years because of Atkins, but I was just going to begin with two glasses a day because of the No S Diet , maybe I was meant to see this post and will save the wine for the weekend... Thanks for saving me from potential problems

Say Only Positives To Yourself

:) Refuse to give in to the negatives....Forgive yourself just like you would your little children.....start over and do it better, that's what I do when I "hate my world at times"......This No S Diet is sensational in comparison to what I have tried.....You can do it....Best Wishes

iu's check in

:D I have been on the NoS Diet for 6 days of wonderfulness!!! I have had no problems, I feel like I have been released from a self impossed prison of low carb foods. Now I make a fried egg sandwich with bacon and cheese and eat half of it, orange juice and a banana and coffee. After that I can sure ...

My First S Weekend

8) This is so cool, the freedom to have sweets or seconds. I did one of each, I felt privileged and guilt free. I did feel a little dizzy and nauseated after my piece of pie and cookie. Doesn't make me want any today. This is so freeing. The only way someone could really appreciate it is to have com...

MY FIRST S DAY

:)I prepared for this special weekend by having a special dessert from a famous bakery and woke up excited to have the treat for breakfast with coffee and my favorite music and enjoyed it as the snow falls here in Minnesota. This made the no s week worth it. What a reward and what is even better, no...

Somehow I found your plan.....no receipes but their favorites are needed. All you need to do is download what you have here. Don't add or take away, you are like a permission slip from the principal to go ahead and enjoy life.....and food....and excercize. I wish you the very best, and I thank you.....

Thanks for the comment

I am so happy that my husband Steve who cheats on any diet, doesn't believe any diet can work, has on his own decided this one makes sense, and has come on board, so during the evening watching tv, he has stopped all snacks and is really applying no seconds which has been his downfall on Atkins, he ...

Day two

It is amazing how the guilt is already going away, about eating when you have a practical, goal, as "The No S Diet". I was always medium framed and weighed 138 when I delivered my first baby, and returned to about 118. When I turned thirty I quit smoking and started to gain 5 pounds a year. I began ...

Another Newbie Responds

I think I have found the diet of the 1950's I grew up on..."Eat your three meals and leave the sugar alone, and a treat for special days, and go out and play " It was all balanced, practical, moderate, delicious, and I burned it off and was a little twig.... I am glad someone with the intelligence a...
