Thanks so much for your very sound and accurate advice, everyone. Why pay a therapist when you've got this sort of help for free!!! You have summed me up perfectly... a perfectionist who operates on the all or nothing premise and takes it all far too seriously. I think the advice about the scales is...

Lost cause

Hi guys, Forcing myself to post here despite feeling utterly dejected and hopeless about myself when it comes to my eating. After 2 relatively good weeks on this no s diet (which I agree with philosophically) I have stuffed up, and probably gained the 1.4 kg I lost (and then some). Why do I sabotage...

Hey ou812 Welcome back. I've only been doing this 2 weeks and can really relate to the slip ups. It's helpful for me to hear that you think this is all worth it (and that the alternative isn't). Good luck. You know it works. Nothing can be as hard as the way you probably feel about yourself now. Ali...

My very first FAILURE...
Had 6 mini donuts. Gave it no thought...just ate them.
I won't let this signal the end of the diet as I usually do... straight back on board.

WEDNESDAY Success. Made fatal mistake of weighing myself prematurely and only recorded 1/2 kilo loss. Have nearly given the whole thing away...then I remembered that this is the old way of thinking...ie. quick results or give up (very black and white). I'm proud of the fact that I've maintained a ha...

SUCCESS!
At times difficult today as I got back into the swing of things, but overall a much better experience of eating compared to the S days.

Update

Well, my first weekend of S days is almost over, and it definitely was an interesting experience... After having almost no sleep on Friday night in anticipation of "breaking loose", I was surprisingly unappetised by the thought of any treats. I did still eat in an uncontrolled way, but nothing seeme...

Suggestions for 1st S Day???

Hi there. I'm approaching my first S Day and wondered if anyone has any suggestions for how to structure the day? (Or should there be no structure?). Do you add your snacks onto mealtime to avoid the temptation of blowing the "3 meal plan"?
Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Wednesday check in. Success!!
Better day emotionally today because I was less hungry (had a bigger lunch). Tonight almost lost the plot on bread rolls...went into automatic pilot mode but stopped just in time.

Day 5

This is my very first post! Accidentally stumbled across this website and thought it sounded sensible (though have almost no faith in myself to pull it off). Have had 2 s days and 3 n days so far. Today was most difficult. Became extremely hungry this evening resulting in a 5pm dinner. Mentally put ...
