Re: Who is losing weight doing No S?

I am convinced that sticking to a few plates of good quality food most days of the year is most people''s best bet for pleasure and vitality. Anything warm, even warm water which sounds odd, for some reason warm liquids calm the tummy growling better than cold for me anyway. I also find a big cup of patience helpful as well, as for me hunger comes in waves, usually no longer than 20 minutes.

Re: What is the hardest thing for you?

I have found that distracting myself with being very busy with something physical: laundry, cleaning, a short walk, a hobby etc. and also change in environment, even if it is stepping outside, or going in another room (but not the kitchen LOL!) helps the urge to pass which only lasts maybe 10 minute...

Really interesting posts to read about IE. I too had some success and similar experiences with it. I would recommend anyone who feels they can't do without certain foods or feels deprived do some reading and work on IE. It can be done within the confines of NoS. The hardest part for me re IE was de...

No S for me is the happy medium when it’s not the anarchy of IE but also not the forbidden foods & strict rules of dieting. I’m actually enjoying the fun, hungry enough for it to taste good (no snacks) stopping at enough (no seconds) and not including foods that taste better than they feel if eaten...

Feeling relaxed and motivated today. Read over some posts from others that are really inspiring. It is so encouraging knowing most of us have had varied reactions to the lockdown. Try asking this question this before making a meal

Food for thought. Pizza? Great!! Add a salad on the side and add extra veggies for toppings. BBQ on ...

I totally agree with making meals as delicious as possible. If you can't find foods you love, it's not going to stick. And, like the OP, I had to kick processed foods to the curb and learn to cook. I still can't cook much, but I can make my basic meat and veggies in my sleep now. Even that was hard...
