I like your adaptation, srbliss. I knda watch mine, too, cutting out the bread and potatoes mostly. But I really don't think white flour, white sugar is good for anyone. Can't give it up entirely, but being aware and making mostly good choices fairly low glycemic, works best for me. I feel so much b...

Yum! Yum! Yeah, I love to cook! Lately, I've been into cooking ahead for the month or week, whatever works at the time. Saves me money, time, & dishes. I got this recipe from 1 of those books; it's a chicken mix recipe you make ahead, then freeze in 1 lb. increments, adn pull out to thaw for use in ...

Is isn't something I like to discuss, or even admit I'm old enough to have any knowledge in, but here goes: progesterone. The natural kind. Shop for it in a lotion on Amazon. You'll love it.

8-8-07 Wed. Don't know what happened to Tuesday, it was a red letter day featuring ben & Jerry's, but maybe God was good and made all my past sins disappear! I shouldn't be flippant- I'm sure I just entered it wrong. Anyway, back to green- important on a day I've cheated on the last couple of weeks....

I picked up "8 Minutes in the Morning" a few months ago in the bargain bin at our bookstore and was surprised to find how easy it was to stick to- the exercise part, that is. To be honest, I never paid to much attn to the diet part. It was such a small part of the book and looked pretty much like ev...

I can see why something like this could work....

at least the oil anyway. I really do think there is good science behind that. It's th ewhole protein/fat thing with the low glycemic and high protein diets. You can really go a lot longer without getting hungry on a high protein or high fat meal than you can on a carb or starch heavy meal. Think of ...

Damn! Only my second day and it's gotta go red! Chris brought home a pint of Ben & Jerry's tonight. Had it for my lunch. Feel pretty good it's not a binge day, though. Skipped lunch 7 having a regular dinner later.

Debra's Daily

This is for Monday 8-7-07: Success! Day 1 back & a long day at that! Working the midnight shift, so held off eatting until 9pm (24hrs from the last time I ate yesterday) so I could eat lunch at 2am and dinner when the sun comes up. But this is the hardest day of my week. It only gets easier from here.

I checked out your name on Amazon looking for that book? And you actually authored a couple of computer manuals! Wow! Way to go, bud! You're smart in more ways than one!

Hi Flora, regarding the calendar...

I had the same problem. I found that if I added another tag, I finally got a calendar to show. You know that box that pops up and tells you to give a name? It suggests nosdiet, fine, you got that. Now get it to do it again and type in another tag, like exercise or something. Now that you have 2 choi...
