I have finally decided to succumb to No-S, and accept that I am no longer able to control my eating by other means (skipping meals, eating dessert instead of meals, gorging one day and starving the next, weighing obsessively, etc.) I am done with all of it. About two years ago, I lost a significant amount of weight eating 2 meals per day, plus a small dessert. I had started off doing No-S, but over time my habits kind of morphed into the 2-meal pattern. I'm not generally hungry in the morning, and would much rather just enjoy my coffee and let my appet...

I find it interesting that nobody here has mentioned cold cuts. I myself LOVE a good turkey sandwich, but the problem is that I am grossed out by store-bought cold cuts if they are more than 2-3 days old (weird?), so I almost see it as more economical to buy a sandwich at subway or something if I'm ...

LUNCH!

So, lunch is insignificant. To me, anyway. Breakfast is my favorite, and I love love love to plan out an elaborate dinner for myself. Lunch, however, is smack in the middle of the day when I'm not feeling particularly motivated or creative, and don't want to spend more money to get takeout. So I'm c...

Hello everyone! Some of you probably remember me. I've followed No-S off and on for the past few years, and eventually went on to lose over 30lbs not following a specific plan, just watching myself and trying not to go overboard. I guess you could say that following No-S made me what Reinhard likes ...

While I don't currently practice No-S, practicing it DID jumpstart my 30lb weightloss that I have been maintaining for nearly 2 years (5'7.5, 168 down to 138). I have become what Reinhard refer...

After contemplating my food future the past couple of weeks, I've decided that it's best for me to get back on the No-S wagon. For some reason, I've been second guessing No-S recently. Because of this, I decided to use the last two days to experiment a little bit. Ok, So I know the rules are no SWEETS, not no SUGAR, and that a sweet is loosely defined as something you would eat for dessert.
