Sybil, Peas and banana salad w/ mayo, that is...different. I'm trying to imagine how it tastes. Is it sweet peas? We make a sweet pea salad with boiled eggs and mayo, salt & pepper. I'll have to tell my husband (he makes fun of us) my family isn't the only one that puts fruits with foods that don't ...

Hi everyone and thanks for your advice. I guess I was a bit vague, Freakwitch, about the "medical procedure". The reason I couldn't eat very much and only certain things was part of the prep, I had to be cleaned out. YUCK. It's over now. I had the procedure this morning and it was AWFUL. But there w...

Day 4: Successful A weird day. I had to prep for a procedure tomorrow so my eating was required to be sparse today.
Breakfast - 2 slices dry white toast
Lunch - baked fish and slice of white bread
Supper - chicken bouillon

Didn't make my 10,000 steps today - 5,674

Thanks Deb and Jan-Tz. Whew. Good. So tomorrow can count as an S day if I need it. That's a relief. I'm still going to try to stick to 3 meals but it is nice to have some wiggle room if I need it.

Don't Want To Blow It

I have a situation here, I'm not sure how to handle, I think I know what to do but I figure you guys have had alot more experience at this NoS diet than me and maybe could give me some pointers. I will have had 4 successful days after today and don't want to blow it. I am having a medical procedure ...

I'm probably going to sound pretty backwards here but I live in a rural community and have no idea what netflix movies are and how you get them. Could someone tell me? Although, I probably need to stay away from them too right now until I get my new habit of not snacking established. One of my favor...

I'm not considered successful yet, I haven't made 21 days, only 3, but so far the following is my schedule: Breakfast somewhere between 7am & 9:30am Lunch somewhere between 11:30am & 1pm Supper somewhere between 6:30pm and 8pm I have experienced hunger pangs also. They don't bother me as much as fee...

I definitely have a TV- food association. If I watch TV for more than 30 minutes to an hour I will find myself snacking, mindlessly snacking as someone so aptly put it.

Cynthia, Hi. I could relate very much to "I wake up every day with the intention of doing a number of things i.e. only eating when I am hungry, counting calories, or whatever - and I NEVER stick to it. By night time I am eating everything." I have been doing that for some time too. I came across the...

Yep. For example, the apple sandwich. You peel off the outside skin and slice it long-ways. You put mayo, not Miracle Whip, on the bread. Lay the apple slices on one slice of the bread, maybe sprinkle a little salt if you like, and put the other slice on top and enjoy. It is a crunchy, sweet/tart, t...

Thank you all for your continued support. :) I appreciate all the helpful hints. Day 2: Successful. I did find myself grieving my afternoon swiss mocha coffee but it was short lived. I am still really excited to be starting this again. Once the new wears off and I wind down that is when"the rubber m...

I probably like all fruits but my favorite fruit is CHERRIES. I bought some this summer at a ridiculous price, $3.99 per lb, but they were sooo good. I also like blueberries and luckily my grandmother has blueberry bushes that produce blueberries almost the size of quarters. They were huge and so sw...

Hey Planner Lady, Glad I'm not the only newbie. I started officially yesterday. I had been putting this off for quite a while until my health has really begun to concern me. My health began changing alot in my late 30's. I started having problems I didn't think I'd experience until my 50's. And they...

Thanks Kevin and Peetie for the reminder about the protein. I'll be making sure I get at least 2 ounces with each meal. Our home computer crashed yesterday afternoon so I wasn't able to check-in until I came to work this morning. Yesterday was SUCCESSFUL. I did find myself habitually opening the sna...

Thank you all for your very nice welcome. I am really looking forward to some consistent freedom from snacking and overeating. I really enjoy snacking. It is a form of entertainment for me. This weekend was not good. I did alot of snacking, staying up late, being generally lazy and I just don't feel...

Blue Daisy's Daily Check In

I first found this forum back in June. It really interested me because I had done something very similar to this almost 4 years ago and it worked wonderfully, 3-0-1, three meals a day, nothing in between, one day at a time. I also elimnated all sugar and watched my intake of refined carbs. The No S ...
