Nordic walking is great. It is very easy to do and takes walking up a notch for me. It also takes some of the pressure off my knees which is also a good thing. I highly recommend trying it.

Right there with you too. Seems like I go through a "honeymoon" phase when something is new, then the newness wears off and I am back to the head games with eating. I was so glad to see this posted. I too was a member of OA, recenty stopped going ( after much mental debate with myself) as I was never able to achieve any sanity regarding food. And the harder I tried the more I felt like a failure, along with guilt. I too met some wonderful people, but it wasn't ...

New here ------ about 2 weeks down. I have been using HabitCal and, sad as this may sound, it is helping me to get rigoursly honest. I could keep playing head games with my eating but what good does that do? it sure in the heck doesn't help me change, and I have played head games WAY TOO LONG with m...

Hi everyone, I am close to having 2 weeks under my belt (2 days shy) and thought I had been doing good. Well, I decided to "check" to see just how "good" I was doing by stepping on the scale. something I am trying that is helping me is to eat one of my meals of the day mindfully. paying attention to what I am actually eating, the smell, texture, taste etc. It slows me down and I am learning what I actually like after so many years of dieting and eating what " I was supposed to eat"
