Well said Deb. I'm recommitting too and the HabitCal is a great motivator.
Thanks Reinhard.

No S and Pregnancy

I had great success on no s last year and earlier this year. I got my weight to a healthy level and my relationship with food was more balanced than it had been in a long time. In April I succeeded in falling pregnant and I soon discovered that my no s habits had to go. I found the only way to relie...

I'm no expert but it looks like you're having your biggest meal at dinner and maybe not enough protein with breakfast and lunch. I know we are here to be free of what the diet industry tells us but I remember reading many times that it's a good idea to have your bigger meals at breakfast and lunch t...

Absolutely! Fresh heart shaped waffles with berries for breakfast, any chocolates I can get my hands on (maybe even make some if I have time) and something very sweet and romantic for desert. I was thinking of making turkish delight semifreddo cut into heart shapes with a cookie cutter. I'll let you...

I've been getting this too lately. By 5pm I often feel very unwell. A glass of milk can help. I think it's because I fell off the no s wagon over the holidays and now it's as if I'm startig over again  When I first started last september I had the same issue so I started having a protein shake...

Skinny jeans

I'm wearing my skinny jeans today :D
They've been in the back of the cupboard for 3 or 4 years.
Bit out of fashion

Hi mondurvic I've recently considered buying a diet book called the 80/20 diet by Teresa Cutter (80% good healthy meals, 20% treats). I liked the look of it because the philosophy aligns nicely with no s, the recipes look yummy and Teresa seems to have a great attitude to food and exercise. http://w...

Hi storm fox

Fairly often I have a piece of fruit just after my meal, especially if I feel that the meal was lacking in fibre or vitamins.

I think it's OK as long as it's a single serving and forms part of a balanced meal (or virtual plate).

I used to eat like 2 or 3 normal people too :) It's good to be reminded that no s is a normal way to eat because today I felt a bit abnormal when everone else was having morning tea at work and I just stood around watching everyone else eat. Thats why I keep coming to read this board, everything is ...

Hi choxie Just a note about losses. Based on my experience, an average of 1lb per week is very achievable and it sounds like you'll be doing more exercise than me so you'll probably do even better. That said, don't panic if you weight goes up over the course of a week. One week my weight went up 4lb...

Yay! 10 weeks of no s

I looked through my diary this morning and counted 10 weeks no s :) how time flies! I've lost 4.5kg. I was going to post when I had lost 5kg but 4.5kg is about 10 pounds and 10 sounds better than 5 anyway. I haven't posted in the 21 day club because I probably haven't had 21 days in a row with no fu...

I second that Louann. This is a wonderfull system. Prior to no s, my weight was gradually creeping up and I felt helpless to stop it. Every time I resolved to start a perfect, healthy diet part of my brain said "oh no, I can never eat cake again! Must eat cake now!" Now I just have to wait until Sat...

Hi CarrieAnn I've been doing no s for a month now (only just joined the forum). I've been seeing good results but I've had the same problem with the time between lunch and dinner. I have a well balanced lunch with protein, salad and complex carbs but by dinner time I was often too hungry and not fee...
