My S days are very similar to my NoS days. Only difference is I may have a slice of pie or cake, or an appetizer if we eat out, perhaps a glass of wine. S days gone wild is why I think so many give up too soon. Reinhard never meant it as a food fest.

You know what reading this thread brought to mind? I had read when people go try to get help with binge eating disorders, one of the first things that they do is tell them they can eat absolutely anything that they want. Nothing is forbidden. It is an attempt to normalize your attitude and concept o...

WOW you guys are great! Thanks for all the quick replies. I cannot tell you how already I feel such a profound sense of relief to "be back home". This is what I know I can live with. I just have to let go of the diet mindset. I am guessing this is what most of us struggle with.

Back AGAIN! :)

I am considering all these struggles to be positive things. I think I am working this all out in mind. It seems I slip up everytime I try to add rules to No S. Whenever I do that, the simplicity of the program and the lack of guilt flies out the window and so do my habits. No S in and of itself work...

Wosnes --- what you said made me really reflect this morning and I realize when I just eat what I want in the proper portions, not classifying things as good or bad, I do SO MUCH better. Several times in the last several weeks I went out and bought fat free yogurt and things I thought would be healt...

Food snob

Anyone else becoming a food snob like me? I find that since I'm only eating three plates of food a day, I'm mighty picky about what goes on that plate. Today I drove five miles out of the way to get the *perfect* bar-b-q sandwich from my favorite joint. Not everything on my plate is always healthy, ...

Okay ... just realized something and I have to toot my own horn. I may have had some extra food at the improper time, but nothing outlandish, and since I started this way of life I have not binged one time. That in of itself is AMAZING to me!

Don't give up too soon!

I have only been doing this for several weeks with lots of stops and starts but I am happy about those. I am learning just as much in my mess ups as I have in my successes. I don't know if that makes sense or not but it is true. I have lost some weight. However, I have a TON of weight to lose so any...

Heading out to go camping with my hub. Such a relief to finally NOT have to worry about bringing special foods.

Everyone have a wonderful No-S'ing rest of the week! :)

Wosnes is right. You can't get it wrong on an S day. Yeah, yeah, yeah, there's this "Don't be an idiot" caution, and it's true. Thanks for the great a...

Okay.... I spent the first week talking about how this way of living was almost spiritual and I DO believe it is. And I KNOW it is my answer. But you know what?
