Don't know about it being an S day, but make sure you do not give blood on an empty stomach, I used to work in a hospital lab and cannot tell you how many people passed out from giving blood on an empty stomach. Most of you will not recognize my name, I have been off the boards for a few months now. My mom took a bad fall in October, we had to put her in a nursing home and two weeks after being there on November 12 she passed away. Well today being an S day, I had planned on goint eat a big breakfast at Huddle HOuse, but it was packed, so change of plans.

Breakfast:
2 slices extra fiber toast
butter
oj with whey protein powder mixed in

Lunch:
Fettuchine tv dinner

Snack: popcorn

What's good about the popcorn is that is not a very heavy food and unless you get it drowned in butter, it's not that bad as a meal/snack. Glad you and hubby got to have a "date". Have a blessed day.

What size plate are you using? Instead of a regular 9" plate, try using a salad plate, I bought some at the local wal-mart for 1.00-1.50 each. God Bless.

I always have whole milk or a protein drink handy in case hunger gets too bad between meals. I try and eat balance meals, carb, fruit, protein and veggies an equal serving of each. Hope this helps. God Bless.

Thanks. I did get the book and in the middle of reading it. I'm sure I'll read it many times over. I had 2 copies of the book, one for at home and the other at work, I gave my son my work copy so I will be getting me another one for at work, the book really does help and makes a lot of good points....

Hello. I "divide" the plate into 4 and do 1/4 each of protein, carbs, veggies and fruits, but it's not an exact science. Hope this helps. have a blessed day.
