I had forgotten about the McDonald's coupon that came with my No S book. The coupon went promptly into the recycle bin, but it did give me a good chuckle that a "free sandwich" would come with an Amazon.com order. What's next? Hemorrhoid cream with your Dell computer? LOL

Consult your physician to see what diet plan is best for you. Diabetes, as you undoubtedly know, is a very complex and dynamic condition that requires lots of monitoring and tweaking. Your physician will be able to help you get on the right track. Please don't accept medical advice from strangers on...

Please consult your physician regarding your blood sugar concerns! Now that my disclaimer is out of the way, definitely include a good amount of protein in your breakfast, especially since you're going so long without eating. Good luck and happy No-S'ing! :)

http://www.drugs.com/lyrica.html In reading about the side effects of this medication, it looks like the possible weight gain is twofold: it can cause water retention and also increased appetite (please note that the instructions read to contact your doctor right away if you experience swelling in y...

Did anyone else notice that this article was apparently written in 2003, well before the advent of the nefarious 100-calorie packs and at the height of the low-carb craze? It's sad that such a subject is quickly turning into something "timeless".

I agree with the above posters that it's a relief to not look at tickers beneath every post! The No S Diet, in my opinion, isn't about "Oh, look, I lost one million pounds in my first week!" so the weight loss tickers seem pretty irrelevant. I do like Reinhard's idea about having tickers for other t...

Obesity is truly an epidemic in today's world. Most cardiac catheterization lab tables, similar to MRI and CT, have a weight limit of around 350 pounds. It's true that image studies of larger people are simply not as clear as those taken of thinner people. It's also true that it's harder to defibril...

I, too, purchased the Woman's World magazine and read about this eating plan which is changing my life as I type! I have probably purchased about ten magazines "at the checkout" in my life, but something about this issue spoke to me and I had to buy it. I wound up spending about an hour on the No S ...
