So glad to see this posted! I felt heavier too, and jumped on the scale Sunday morning before coffee. 2 lbs. right there . I thought I would pass out! Didn't jump ship, as someone else said, and just hung in there. Had to remind myself that I didn't put on this weight overnight, (or even in a month)...

Thanks, one and all! :D Didn't have time to check for replies after my post - the holiday weekend just kinda exploded all at once. I kept at it, however, and was a bit dismayed to sneak on the scale and see not much of a difference...but Im in this for the habit forming first, weight loss second. Ma...

Bad day at the office
This week has been "one of those days" - and it's only Wednesday. I can't recall a time when I've craved sodas, fast food and other junk so badly, as I have this week. Despite being perfect on my NoS, I still want to just eat something. Snack, munch, work my jaws into a frenzy. Out of nervous...

I think we have to go back to our original commitment...I mean, there's a lot of things in my life that I go slack on after awhile, homeschooling being a big one. Already Seeing Results!
(I have to first kick in here - I'm not weighing on a scale, so I don't know what I've lost in poundage.) My son and I are both seeing a difference in our midsections. I can really tell on him, and it wasn't until last night that I started looking and realized, I can tell on me, too. It's like we've...

I'm not shocked at all, really. I mean, look at the holidays - Halloween, Easter - they aren't holidays where people indulge in homemade treats - they're bags and baskets full of candies. Our Household Has Gone No S
Happy to report, our household has gone No S! We're a homeschooling family, very traditional, and one thing we've seen come from being home all day (a very undesirable thing) is that the children end up grazing all day in the kitchen. By the time meals are served, no one is hungry, and no wonder - e...

Oh, this is a toughie. I stopped "binging" in the classical sense some years ago. It was that horrible. Binging was a...
