I'm so proud of and happy for you, AMP. No S does seem right. I've tried it numerous times over the last 12 years, but never followed through. I always ran to something that would get me quicker results even though, as you well know, they never panned out and I ended up regaining any weight I lost. ...

Scott W. Black's Check-In: 10th Time Is the Charm?
Over the past 5 years, I have attempted No S a number of times, but have always been lured away by other diets that promised fast(er) weight loss. Some of them worked, most of them didn't. But no matter what, I always gained the weight back (and then some) when I went back to eating "normally." This...

Holiday sweets
With the holiday season quickly approaching, I'm wondering how No S folks deal with the sweets that inevitably come with it. I work at a veterinary hospital and from November through January, we get tons of home baked goods from our clients. The way I look at it, I have three choices: 1. Refrain fro...

I discovered No S sometime in 2005 and thought it was a clever, minimalist way to limit calories and lose weight. Of course, that didn't mean that I bothered to incorporate it into my daily life. I read the web site over and over, but didn't try it out myself until Hurricane Katrina kicked me from N...

Third time is the charm?
I found No S sometime in 2005 and attempted to do it "by the book" in 2006 after relocating to Austin, TX due to Hurricane Katrina, but a number of factors - the main one being an ever-present depression - kept me from being successful. Now I believe that I am ready to buckle done and get this thing...

Embarrassing confession No. 1: Today I picked up my 12 lb. Shovelglove for the first time and had a heck of a time completing the proper number of No Name lifts. Could my arms really be so weak? I didn't have any problem doing the other reps, so I'm not sure what's up. Any advice? Suggestions? Thanks.
