Meg's back, daily check in

I'm back, after a very long hiatus. Little girl in my pic is now almost five years old. Weight is only up a bit, but I am frustrated with disorganized eating habits. Today: Started again at dinner. Successful. One of my (more peculiar) favorites: Sandwich with salami, cheese and mayo. For some reaso...

I'm back!

Tired of all the dieting. Weight is fine (between 125 and 130lbs, depending on the day). Mainly because I'm on a major athletic streak. But sick of all the failed/changing resolutions.

So I'm having and S-day snack and going back to NOS tomorrow. Hi again, everybody...

Thanks, guys...

Thank you for the encouragement!

Will look for a better 'after' pic. Usually the photos are of the kids, not me! Also, my daughter is cuter than she looks in this photo, even if I do say so myself. She had been splashing around in a fountain and is therefore water-drenched in this particular shot.

Ten months in, many pounds lost...

Okay, I'm finally qualified to post here. I am down from a lifetime max of 195 (while pregnant) to roughly 130 lbs. Started NOSing at the beginning of July 2008 and have been going (mostly) strong ever since. Reinhard, you are my hero! Will try to post my very embarassing before and after pics, even...

My enthusiasm for shovelglove continues, and the habit is getting stronger. (Seems to require a little more mental effort than NOS. I am just starting to shovelglove. Essential lessons thus far include the following: 1. If you take your three-year old to the hardware store to buy a sledgehammer, he will tell everyone you know that you bought a sledgehammer to do exercises. Hard choice: act like you have no idea WHAT he is talkin...
