I went slipping and sliding for a couple of days as my daughers made some peanut butter and oatmeal raisin cookies that I couldn't refuse, so I pigged out for a couple of days, but I am now "back on the wagon" armed with new resolve. Best regards, Bob

Thanks for the advice you gave me before I went on my trip, Deb. I don't think I'll be able to charge that thin man rent for very long, as he wants to get out in the worst way! Best regards, Bob

13 days of success! On my trip, I buckled down. I ate a little more than usual, but had no sweets or snacks. I did a lot of walking, so I didn't gain any weight on my trip, so I'm still on the mark to eventually release the thin man within me. Best regards, Bob

Nine days of success, and all is going well. I am going on a mini vacation this coming Thursday, but I will try to maintain discipline to some degree, as I don't want to put the weight back on that I have lost. I will be on vacation for four days which will involve quite a bit of traveling, so this ...

Way to go, David! The best is yet to come! You inspired me with your post, so I did an old Charles Atlas workout of pushups, situps, side bends, leg raises, deep knee bends, calf raises, neck exercise, and a few squat thrusts. Best regards, Bob

Yes, San Francisco is a great city to walk in, as there is always something interesting to see. I have what I call my "A" walk and my "B" walk. My "A" walk is a level walk along the Embarcadero with great views of the San Francisco Bay Bridge, and it takes me through Fishermans Wharf from where I ge...

I really enjoy the exercises in Combat Conditioning. I also do some exercises from Dynamic Tension, The Charles Atlas Course. I take it real easy on doing the neck bridges, though, as I still use hand support. I think it's all in my head, and that in time I will do a full neck bridge. Best regards, ...
