Welcome Amie - while I'm from NJ, I'm currently vacationing on the coast of NC! (Oak Island, NC) with relatives and friends. My hubby and I haven't been here for 2 years and we're really enjoying ourselves. I started NoS in Sept and have been enjoying the simplicity and sensibility of it. Yes, back ...

Another good day....granted, I tend to be a creature of habit, so the same breakfast: B: L/F cottage cheese with fruit & light multi-grain english muffin with 1 slice of melted cheese. L: Was on the road today, so took "take out" from Chinese restaurant: Small bowl of hot/sour soup & a spring roll. ...

Silky's Check In

Today was a good day with one exception (I sucummed to 2 mini Reese's bites - AARRGGGHHHH) - My bigger breakfasts have been paying off (low fat cottage cheese with fruit & toasted light multi-grain english muffin with a slice of cheese melted in it). Soup and salad with grilled chicken for lunch - a...

Congrats Merry on your first (and successful) week! I too am starting week 2; haven't jumped on the scale, thought I'd just stick to the program and perhaps weigh in right before we leave on vacation 10/10. Today was a biggie for me....last week (my 1st week) my supervisor was away on vacation. Norm...

Welcome JennyP - coming from a chronic grazer....I'm thrilled with just 3 meals a day. Today for breakfast, I had a 'light' multi-grain english muffin with sugar free strawberry jam and some cut up canteloupe and a third of a plate of grapes (About 10 grapes). It was yummy and filling. Then an avera...

Funny, funny, funny.....didn't stay long enough at the service to catch dessert, so here it is 6:30 on a Sunday night and I've only had my 3 meals/day - a snack on Saturday and no sweets. Not intentional, just the way it worked out. WIERD! And not feeling like I'm missing anything. STRANGE!

Thanks for the welcome! Yesterday was my first 'free' day. Funny, I didn't desire any 'seconds' and enjoyed a small bowl of popcorn while DH and I watched a movie last night. Surprisingly, I did not go "crazy". Today will be interesting, as I'll be going to a memorial service and then a gathering af...

Hello - I'm a newbie!

I probably have tried every diet known to man (and woman) with no measurable success. My latest venture had been the intense accounting system, which kept me r...

I am 1/2 way through the No S diet book and 3 days on 3 meals (only) a day and I feel better already. Can't wait to enjoy the rest of the book and explore the on-line info/boards. ...
