Re: Tex Ark Check In

It's been awhile so time to check in. All is good. Weight has stayed stable and no bump up during the holidays. I am happy and healthy eating very low carb, usually 2 meals a day. I have been sugar and grain free since Sept. 28, 2017 and that has freed up so much brain space. No decisions to be made...

I have noticed that some days your fasting blood glucose is under 100. I never can get mine there (as I mentioned to you before, I am sure it is dawn phenomenon), but I do stay stable around 100 all day. I also recently had my Hemoglobin A1C checked and I am at 5.2. Glad to see you back Bluebell. Most of us here have come and gone and returned and have similar stories. Eventually, if we stay at it, changes in our thinking patterns and habits will take place and the weight will come off. The weight loss is SLOW, but it takes time to change a lifetime of mismanag...

Goal Weight

So I have been at maintenance stage for awhile. And I am still losing slowly. My questions are: If you are at maintenance, did you pick a goal weight or did it pick you? Have you decided on a goal weight? If so, how? Do you really not pay attention to the "number"? What about clothes size? What is y...

My advice for what it is worth (I am now 71 and for 50+ years I have battled weight and body image): Work on stabilizing where you are and consider that a victory.
