I will stick to vanilla No S for the complete duration of final exams!!

This is bolder than it sounds. Last year, I pretty much ate gummi bears round the clock for weeks to keep my energy up and keep me focused. After finals, I looked like a gummi bear!

No breakfast, of course, but there was a reception after work at a legal women's group and I passed it up because I didn't want cheese cubes and cookies to be my dinner. I just had a glass of wine and waited until I go...

Today was a good day, but for some reason I was hungrier than normal. I wound up drinking a half glass of milk in the afternoon, and another glass at night. But I didn't snack. Oh, no, I forgot--a girl in my class brought me a small bag of figs from the tree in her yard. She wanted my opinion on whe...

Walked here and walked there--I'm jealous! I live in a big subdivision that's sort of out in the country. There is a grocery store, a drug store and a Blockbuster's within walking distance from my house, but it takes an hour round trip, longer if it takes you any time at all in the store. I wish I c...

Dandelion, I'm sorry about the tight jeans, but Kevin is right--think about the habit you're forming, and don't worry so much about the weight. As you said yourself, all the excess food seems "lit up in neon" now. You'll deal with that problem as you are able. I haven't yet lost weight on No S, but ...

Noel, that's kind of what I'm thinking. I wouldn't be able to deal if I thought I had to get up at 7 every day for the rest of my life, but maybe I could if I knew I could sleep in on S days. Also, KCCC, that would work for No S, too. On N days I could get up at 7 and eat breakfast normally. On S da...

What's the worst diet you ever tried?

About the worst I ever went on was the F-factor diet. It was all about fiber, and this was about 30 years ago. You had to make up this fiber mix and eat it twice a day, besides eating lots of high fiber foods in general. The fiber mix was made up of high fiber cereal, wheat bran, some dried fruit an...
