Hi, I agree, scales are evil. I was doing exactly what you say you are doing. I was so excited by the initial weight loss that I just couldn't stay off of the scale. Of course when it inevitabley stopped moving it had a huge psychological effect on me. I struggled after that to even stay on the diet...

I have been chugging along with No S for the last few weeks. No 21 day club yet, but I still want it. Since I have stopped obsessively checking in, I have lost 2 pounds, and stayed mostly within the diet guide lines. I like to check in every day so that I can watch my progress (or lack of) but I was...

Hi W2BH, I have loved reading your posts. I can relate with you on so many of your dieting issues. (Well, not the part about effortlessly making the 21 day club on your first try) I even recognized your description of the Crb Lvrs diet. Especially the part about binging for an hour every night LOL. ...

Thanks everyone for taking the time to post your advice and experiences. I made it through Friday (and obviously Saturday and Sunday). You know what worked? I just did it. The Honeymoon is Over

My first two weeks on this program were effortless. I was smugly assuming that by finding this program, I had already conquered my weight problem. The first two weeks were so easy, and I lost 4 pounds. Sure, everyone said that this was a slow process, but I went ahead and did the math anyway. (You k...

Day 5: SUCCESS CaroleJo, I appreciate your example. I think doing this for 8 months does show consistancy, even if you only have two "solid blocks" of 21 days. I wouldn't mind that kind of success at all. If I do this for 8 months and never reach 21 days, I will still be proud of myself. In the past...

Hi Deb, There were a lot of good ideas posted. Here's something else to think about. If you do decide to write a budget, you will probably notice that most of it goes toward fixed costs (ie $700 to mortgage or rent, $300 to insurance) every month. You have to pay those or you are in big trouble. One...

If you are miserably hungry between meals, eat more during your mealtimes. Through trial and error, you'll figure out what feels you up. I somehow skipped lunch today. I didn't do that intentionally, but now I am wondering if I should eat another late meal, or if I should just go with it, and start again tomorrow.
