Most people who post their meals here seem to be eating the least at breakfast.

If anyone practices this approach, what would a king's breakfast look like?

But, to be clear, pizza is not an S day treat, at least in my book! I have, of course, had to cut down on the number of slices, since they have to fit on a plate and the box it comes in doesn't count!

Kathleen, I was putting off starting work this a.m. and happened on a thread from last November called The difference between Red and Yellow, that KCCC started. You had some interesting things to say in that post. You said you had 2 S days a month that you could use at will, which kept you from mess...

I said no to ice cream and funnel cake at Six Flags yesterday. Yes it was an S day. But I was trying not to go wild. Then in the evening I pigged out on all sort of junk at home, alone, after my daughter went to bed. So saying no backfired.

Oh! I did something like that back in the 1970s. I remember how skeptical my mother was about me being able to eat what I wanted (i.e. not cottage cheese and "diet" food), even though she's the one who had signed me up for the course! It was really difficult to figure out exactly what I wanted to ea...

Very reasonable lowish-carb weekend. Had spicy peanuts both days. Walnuts, macadamias, and almonds. Had no sweets and no bread/pasta/fruit but lots of veggies.

Re: HOW MANY TRIES DID IT TAKE YOU TO STICK WITH THIS?

"Slips" don't last as long as they used to. I used to "blow it" by the week on other diets ("I'll start again Monday"). Now, I may have something that's technically "red"... and I call it, but stay in compliance the rest of the day. ("Mark it and move on!") This, to me, is at the very heart of why ...

This is my first time and I have been following no_S since January 28. That does not mean that every N day has been perfect. Plus I had a short derailment of a few days after Memorial Day weekend and one week off out of a three-week vacation.

I love no-S! Good luck to you.

That's so funny! People telling you how it works--to be encouraging--and you invented it!

It must have morphed since then because my understanding was also that S days were included in the count.

Good luck however you count them and thanks for your encouragement about looking better.
