I've been looking into getting a bento box for carrying my lunch to work. It would help save on waste (less plastic baggies), be less bulky, and it would help me add more variety to my meal. John, Glad to hear that you are doing well after your surgery & that your doctor approves of your new lifestyle. My husband is good friends with our family doctor, and No S is basically how he himself eats (the doctor, not my husband). As a matter of fact, he was against my going on WW. Told me that...

Thanks for the link LA Loser. And I think I will go with the i-Pod Touch. We have Wi-fi at home and work. Also, since I'm nearing 40, I should probably start worrying about the font size too.

At least I know that you are checking up on me Marleah. I'd better do a good job now LOL. Wednesday, April 1st: SUCCESS No sweets, no snacks, no seconds. I did have wine with dinner, but less than two glasses. I can't seem to find the glass ceiling rule in my book, but if I remember correctly, this ...

I just wanted you to know that I absolutely loved this post! I wish I had read it when I first found No S last month, but better late than never. I especially liked your quote: 3 meals a day, living in between. It's such a shame all the time I wasted planning meals, journaling & just plain stressing...

MysteryLover's Daily Check-In

I'm thinking that it's WAY overdue for me to start being more accountable (to myself) and start a daily check-in. I started No S on March 1st, but only stuck to it about 70% of the time. I lost two pounds, which is pretty good considering how terrible I did. I'm going to consider March a learning ex...

Jeanne, If it makes you feel any better, we started around the same time and I've only lost about 2 pounds. This was my first month & I'm considering it a learning experience. It has taken me a whole month to really no longer get hungry between meals and also to get my portion sizes to a 'normal' am...

I'm so sorry for what you are going through Thalia & I often go through those exact feelings myself. I think it is especially hard for us women to feel good about ourselves because the media spends a whole lot of $$ to purposely make us feel bad about ourselves. If we feel fat, we'll buy more diet f...

Ewww. I totally agree with the Cool Whip! I've never liked that stuff. It looks and tastes so artificial. WW was big on pushing the ff and lf Cool Whip, so I did use it back when I was on that diet. I'm so glad to be able to eat real foods without the guilt. I just enjoyed freshed whipped cream with...

Thanks Wosnes for sharing the links. I am really trying hard to stay away from fake/processed foods as much as possible. The food that gets to me the most is coffee creamer. Have you ever looked at the ingredient list?? I use real light cream and enjoy it more for almost the same amount of calories ...

Wow, bet you'll have a great time on your trip! I'm still new to NoS, but I would try to keep the structure of M-F being N days and Sat/Sun being S days. But since you are on vacation, don't beat yourself up if you end up having a few slip-ups (after all you ARE on vacation). That way you won't go t...

Thanks! I did enjoy my S days this weekend, but I'm ready to go back to 'normal'. Of course I weighed myself this morning and was only down a 1/2 pound, but at that rate I would lose 8 pounds by my birthday and that's not too shabby. And by the time I turn 40 next year I should have it all off and b...

Can't believe I did it!

Here it is Friday night and I made it all work week with only one snack, no seconds, and absolutely no sweets. I never, ever would have thought that I could do that and not be absolutely ready to go jump off a bridge. I really thought that I HAD to have chocolate every day or die. I'm just so amazed...

Hi Cassie, Welcome. I'm just started this week too. Wish I had the new baby excuse for my extra weight, but my kids are 11 and 13! It's sweets and snacking that did me in. I truly believe that small amounts of excercise done consistently is the key. I work out 15-20 minutes most days (even on the we...

Nichole, You know it really bugs me both ways: when people push food, and when they tell you that you shouldn't eat something because they assume you need the diet advice. Cake pushers can be pretty bad. I think it makes them feel better to see you eating it too. And most of the time the cake doesn'...

Thanks LA Loser for reposting. I had read about H2Orange but it's nice to get the actual 'recipe' with the proportions. I was going to hold off on trying the nuts (I like them WAY too much). Hi - new here.

Hi everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Gina and I just started this weekend. I thought it would be best to ease myself into this on S days. My background: I'm 5'1" and 150 lbs. I'm at my best when I stay under 130. A few years back I lost it ALL on WW's. Even became a Lifetime memb...
