This is sort of a warning message. I read about the 200 squat thing so I did 200 squats. I figured since I am always hiking in mountains I would not have problem. I did 14 minutes of shovelglove then 200 squats without stopping and then 14 more minutes shovelglove. The problem is that I used to do h...

Thank you very much also Storm Fox. It is funny to read this message now as it is 6am and monks are doing Buddhist chant which says "You do good, you get good". So I am glad I could do some small thing to make someone happy.

DC that will really get you in shape. If you get a chance check out Matt Furey's combat conditioning website. He explains how to do Hindu squats and Hindu pushups which are exercises Indian wrestlers used to do. They are a good change from the usual pushups and more difficult than they would seem.

Lat night I combined the shovelglove and the 200 squats routine. I did 14 minutes of the butterchurner, then without resting I did 200 squats, which took a little uner 9 minutes, and then again without a pause I did 14 minutes of the shovel. So altogether the workout took 37 minutes. Although I did ...

There are more women doing shovelglove here than men. Besides doing less time in the beginning, you can also choke up on the handle to get better leverage. By the way I was in Guatemala many years ago when I was in the army. It is a beautiful country.

Yesterday I did shovelglove while watching tv again but my girlfriend was sewing slipcover for sofa in living room and I did not have room to swing hammer so I did butterchurn which I call hardbar for the 14 minutes as you do not need much room to do them. Honestly I find personally that if I do all...

tv routine

Last night I did the shovelglove while watching this Thai tv show called Sau Ha which is a crazy superhero show. To make it interesting I did the butterchurn exercises, which I call the hardbar because it is the way I actually did the hardbar and I never actually did churn butter, for the entire tim...

It is hard to get through the deck. Sometimes I cheat and make the aces 11. There is a certain amount of luck involved. If you get a bunch of high red cards in a row you can tire out quickly from pushups. On the other hand, if the red cards are spaced out you can get through more cards before you cr...

Here is a different program I sometimes do. Actually I learned it from inmates when I was a prison guard. Get a deck of cards and throw a card on the floor. For red cards I do pushups and black cards do squats. Picture cards are 10, aces are 15 and number cards are obviously the number of the card. ...

There was a 5k run I did a couple of years ago in Chiang Mai which is a beneit for Burmese refugees. I had been doing elliptical machine prior to this so I thought I was in shape but when I did 5k I thought I would die. This was partly due to the fact it was crop burning season here and air pollutio...

Thai people are small and the biggest sledgehammer I can find is 10 lb. which is small for me as I weigh about 200 pounds. However I do butter churn exercise 1 handed so it makes it harder and also do the wood chopping motion 1 handed but have to choke up on the handle.

It is very hot in Thailand and I also walk every day. I try to do it in morning or evening but when I have to go out in mid-day these things help.
1-Drink lots of water first.
2-When possible, I soak long sleeve shirt and hat in cool water.
3-wear sunblock
4-try to take a route with shade.

These movements are from martial arts so this does not really answer your question, but I make like figure eights with hammer. I do this with both arms and then each arm one at a time.
