Happy to report an entire green week! But let's start at the beginning... You heard about my Tuesday last week, and Wednesday wasn't any better: I already knew I would have a social event later that would require me to snack (my friends and I met to make a dessert and eat it together and watch a sho...

Anoulie is back and checking in again!

Some of you may remember me from when I first started No S in 2009/10ish. I followed the rules religiously for 9 months or so, then fell off the wagon and have struggled with perfectionism, emotional eating, body image issues etc. since then. I've re-tried to do No S on and off, but it never lasted,...

Just browsed back through and saw your weight is about the same as it was two years ago. I know your goal weight was lower, but maintaining is still good news, in my book. And you said 125 was in your normal BMI range, so this isn't far off. At 129 lb, my BMI is 23.6, so that's still pretty normal....

Another month is over, and a very stressful one at that. I had a huge exam in mid-August, and have another coming up in a week. Thanks!

I've been in an inexplicably bad mood all day today, it's just 2 pm and I'm already having a hard time staying green, especially since I already bought all the sweets for this weekend  Oh well, I'll pull through. I think I'll take a nap, actually.

I've been having green days since Nov 1 (plus two NWK S days, but those were more like S events -- a roll with jam and butter when we baked stuff together at a friend's party, and on the other day, a pint of coke I had to drink for an experiment where we measured our blood sugar). Probably not losin...

I'm also at university, and we get a "main course" and can then choose up to three side dishes with that. My boundary is: one plate of the main course (which may be just a piece of protein, or contain some veggies, or contain protein+veggies+carbs; it really depends on what's on the menu that day), ...

It's difficult, yes, but I've already decided to stop planning every little detail in other areas of my life, so I think I can do this, too. Ugh. Not in a better place. I visited some friends in the US in August, which had me not doing No S for three weeks at a time -- but in a good way. I didn't worry about food whatsoever, didn't stress-eat, didn't eat so my weekends would be "worth it", but didn't freak out over a piece of candy on We...

Weighed 126.3 lb today... but I'm at my parent's house, and I always lose 2 lb here. S day time!

EDIT: Meaning I don't literally lose 2 lb here, just that the scale measures my weight differently.

Re: Ditto what the others have said!

Don't make this harder than it has to be. You are young and are fortunate that you can take hold of all of this and have it so under control during your twenties (I'm just guessing your age from what you said about university, etc.) that you will be able to march confidently into your 30's and beyo...
