Day 4 Success!
I ate a breaded chicken sandwich, baby carrots, an apple, tortilla chips, salsa, and a little mac 'n' cheese for dinner. No dessert, no seconds! And no snacks or hunger pangs either! This morning, i did not eat until 12, but i consumed a whole 14-piece chicken nugget meal (10-piece, plus the 4 my so...

Starting Weight - Goal Weight
Oh, FYI, my starting weight was 171 on Monday. I was 169 when I started prenatal care with my 2nd baby, in February. I weight 188 right before she was born, then lost it all down to 169 with her birth, and have since been fluctuating between 169 and 171. My earnest hope is to lose 15 lbs by the end ...

Update on Yesterday
Yesterday I ate 1/3 lb Angus Burger, a couple Chicken McNuggets, and a couple french fries for breakfast/lunch meal. i drank only water all day, had no seconds or sweets; then for dinner I had my homemade version of Chinese food: chicken spring roll, teriyaki chicken, jasmine rice, and stir fry. Bethany's Daily Checkin
I decided to finally start this diet today. I don't know that i'll be super-strict at first, using a physical plate to measure success, but I will stick to the meals-only no-seconds no-desserts approach. So far today i have had one meal and only water to drink. i did grab a mint after lunch, but not...

thanks for "weighing in" (oh i'm just awful with puns). There is that loophole on the site regarding the NUMBER of meals per day! I'll probably try a trial run on 3 meals a day, and re-evaluate if upping to 4 or 5 (or 6, god forbid) is necessary as the pregnancy progresses. And yes, I will consult m...

Overall, I have to lose something between 45 and 50 lbs. I remember that I used to be 138 in the months before i conceived, then at the beginning of the pregnancy I was about 143, and at the end I was 188 (ick, i know!), and I weigh about 169 now. So to get back to 138 I have to lose about 31 lbs. I...

No-S okay for pregnant women?
Hey, I first learned about the No-S Diet in college, about 3 or 4 years ago, but had not previously attempted it (although, I admired the simple brilliance of the plan). I am now pregnant with my second child, and I put on about 45 lbs with my first (I still have about 26 lbs of that weight I never ...
