Re: 10 years later and checking in...;)

Thank you, all, for the welcome back. I love the community here. Ladybird, I agree, it's almost like my body "wakes up" at night and then I cannot wind down--the food not helping. I have been experimenting with eating earlier, even a little earlier and it's been helping. Also, my kids started school...

10 years later and checking in...;)

Hello, it's been 10 years since I did NO-S. I even went back to my old posts and realized that the last time I checked in, I had found out I was pregnant with my 4th boy, lived in Seattle, etc. Since then, we moved to Nashville and then SLC. And I have a 5 year old GIRL, too. That boy is now 9. Wow,...

Thank you for the welcome!
Yes I'm realizing the more I binge-eat, the stronger the next time's urge becomes.
You're right--there's discomfort either way, I can feel it initially by resisting or later by overeating.
Happy to be back!

Hi! Here to check in for accountability! I've been in and out of No-S over the years and it really resonates with me to continue with it, with a mod of eating any TYPE of food, in a meal, 3x/day, without S-days. Hi, Sinnie! I haven't been on this board for some time now and I was grateful to see that you're around. It looks like you took a break for awhile and now are back. Hi oolala!
Looks like you're doing well. Congrats on the good weekend and perfect Monday.
I love how you pledge your "marriage" to No-S. It's a great comparison!
Has school/teaching already started up for you?
Take care.

Hi Amy! It looks like you are doing well in the No-S department. Not taking it too seriously, being good to yourself, and knowing your weaknesses. I quite often log food into MyFitnesspal.com. It's a little bit of an obsession of mine at times. Esp. since it's an app on my phone. Sometimes it's just...

Thanks Amy and all! Things are going quite well for me. I don't have as little structure as I had initially, but am trying to stay within a small 4-5 meals to keep nausea down. pregnancy throwing off my habits...

I am so grateful to be newly pregnant. But with that, comes waves of nausea and strange cravings and some habits I hope to not sustain. The past few days I have been caught standing in my sister's kitchen eating Ruffles out of the bag. Licking the salt from them. Today with friends I polished off th...

But it can be SO difficult.

Good for you for feeling everything instead of eating it.
