Saturday weigh in

It is the one thing I took from my weight watcher days. My Saturday weigh in. Today was awsome because I actually lost 3 lbs with my first week of no s'ing I usually never lose weight this fast but I'm starting from a very high point. I'm keeping my s days calm though because I don't want to undo al...

so I'm here again after baby #4

well plan was to do no s through pregnancy and hopefully gain about 25lbs...but... that did not happen I went from 132 all the way to 168 yikes, and what is worse? I had a tiny baby and came hope basically with the same weight. So I have managed to get back down to 150 and I am going to be a good s'...

I'm 5'4' if I do vanilla no s I can be 135 if I want my dream weight of 125 I have to use smaller plates, have one s day and usually have a bowl of cere...

I don't keep real close tabs on specific amounts, but I really do save money. Diet dinners and food can be pricey. I would usually buy food for my family then buy myself frozen diet dinners and seperate special diet snacks. I love not having to do that. I'm saving time and money.

being that you don't have a lot to lose you may find you have to tweek it to work for you. I know I am going against the grain here with what everyone else is saying, but this is why. I've done no s after my 2 last pregnancies with about 12-15 lbs to lose. I like to be around 128-132. In order to do...

I personally don't believe in this idea. I think having a point of reference is important and knowing if we are making our decisions in the right direction or if we need to change out some things in our way of eating. Studies show successful loser weight in at some time or another.

When it comes to losing weight it all comes down to calories in vs. calories out. The no s diet tends to naturally do this for most without them having tho think about it or count anything. If after 6 months on a diet you are not losing then I would change something and make no s work for you. To ge...

I trained for a marathon and ate a little extra thinking I "had" to. Not really, I ended up doing vanilla and being just fine. Someone on the forum gave me an article about Jack la lane. My hubby and I just moved back from Mexico. We lived there for about 7 years. We worked primarily with indiginous people and they actually ate just 2 times a day. They ate around 10-11 and 4-5 with maybe coffee and a roll around 9. I found this to be true also in the city we were working in. I have ...

girl you really need to read Dr. Becks diet solution. It is NOT a diet but gives you the skills you need to follow the diet your on. It works at changing the way you think. Eating is always a choice, but sometimes we have mindsets that set us up for failures. I'm a mommy with three 4 and under, and ...

sounds like you are going through lots of transition and I know that this diet will be perfect for you. for one thing it won't take anything from you like planning and counting calories etc. It also does not really let you emotionally eat which I know can be a problem with me. Good luck to you girl.

welcome to the forum. I just want you to know that I admire so much people I know that have adopted special needs kids from other countries. My first was born with DS, she is four and seems to be more severe which is one of the reasons I needed this diet, I tend to stress eat over the situation.

my grocery budget is smaller when I'm doing no s as opposed to other diets. The first big thing is that I'm not buying "diet" snacks which are quite expensive. Diet frozen meals are also pricey. I'm not having to buy my families food and my own low fat versions of everything. So, really I save a lot...

When I was doing no s before this pregnancy I would lose about a lb. a week and when I got within 10lbs of my goal weight it was about half that or a little less. I think it all depends on if you workout, plate size, and how much you need to lose.

I've been trying to do the no s diet while pregnant. I have not been as good as i have hoped. I do know though that I've gained 23 lbs and I'm 28 weeks. If it was not for no s I probably would have gained a lot more. I used no s after baby Number 3 and got to my pre pregnancy weight in about 4 months.

So honestly I fall into the mindful eating diet and usually end up back to no sing. I love the concept I really do but for me I have three tots and I can't sit and enjoy each bite for 5 minutes and take 30 min to eat all the while checking my tummy to see if I'm really full.

for me when I'm not pregnant I like to be 128-132. I need smaller plates to do this. If I was happy with 135-140 I could probably do larger plates. I use about an 81/2.
