Two weeks of FAILS

15th November - 26th November FAIL, FAIL, FAIL, FAIL, FAIL, S Day, S Day , FAIL, FAIL, FAIL, FAIL, FAIL Really not sure what happened here. I was doing so well with No S (for me). I really thought I had finally got it, and then it all fell apart. Spectacular fail day binges. At first I was so disapp...

I do spinning classes and weights at the gym although I intend to go more often than I actually do. Some days I walk quite a bit too.

I'm a bit worried about today as I'm going for a few drinks tonight for a friends birthday and there will be a birthday cake. I don't want to take it as an S day, but the combination of having a little wine and friends encouraging me (I imagine) to eat some cake will be really tempting. I hope the f...

I find that I only ever crave sweet food when I am already full or satisfied. If i'm really hungry I always feel like eating something savoury, but If I do end up eating something sweet instead, it never fully satisfies me, no matter how much I eat.

Day 5: Success :-)

9:30 pm and I'm very very tempted to eat. Stomach is growling. The only thing that's stopping me giving in and eating something is the fact that I'd have to start again with my attempt to do 21 days of No S. I must try and eat later tomorrow night.

Hi Blithe Morning :-) Unfortunately exercise seems to make me more hungry rather than less. I joined the gym a year ago, hoping that I would naturally lose a bit of weight, but instead put on about 15 pounds. I still exercise quite a bit and always notice that on days I go to the gym I'm quite a bit...

Thank you :-) Unfortunately I didn't have the best first day of tracking. I was so sure I was going to do it this time and have 21 days of success, then some friends visited me in the evening bringing snacks, and I ended up joining them and really pigging out  I think I'll count today as my fi...

Lolly's daily Check In

I’ve had a bit of a difficult start to No S, with far more red days than green, so I’ve decided to check in daily and attempt to do 21 days of successful No S. To begin with, I’m going to make my meals a bit bigger than usual, even though that might mean that I’m eating too many calories to ...

I’ve been away this weekend, and so there have been far too many temptations for me to have been too restrictive. I did make sure I sat down to eat everything and I put all my snacks on plates, which really helped me not go too mad. I actually found myself refusing food a few times, which in the p...

Today (so far anyway) has been a much better N day. I took on board some of the advice people have given me and added some more fat to my meals, and when I got very hungry between meals I had a small glass of tomato juice which really helped to take the edge of my hunger. I’ve noticed another thin...

Welcome Bolliknickers, I’ve only just started No –S myself but I can empathise with the feeling of having food rule your life. I’ve been obsessed about my weight for years and have for most of that time alternated between being on a diet and overeating. I’ve spent far too much of my life thi...

Yes, there’s no point trying to fix everything when I haven’t even managed to get the basic No S diet right yet. Yesterday was an S day, it was my daughters 4th birthday and I pigged out a bit, well ... a lot. Today, Saturday is also an S – day and I’ve been eating all day. I know you are su...

KCCC , I’ve tried to stop snacking straight away. It probably would have been a good idea to stop gradually but as I’ve already started, I’m going to persevere with getting straight into proper No S and hope it gets easier. Today I’ve started trying to eat more satisfying meals as people ha...

Thank you all for the replies :-) You've given me a lot to think about and some really good ideas about where I might be going wrong. I'm glad to hear things tend to get easier Dave, The drink sounds like a good idea. I don't like milk but I could try some vegetable juice as it’s quite filling but...

Hungry all the time

Hi everyone. I've just started the No S diet having intended to for quite a while now. I really do think it is such an amazing, simple and life friendly way to lose and manage weight, but there’s one thing I’m really finding difficult, and that’s the fact that I'm feeling hungry for half the d...
