I do modify it

To be honest, I do modify the diet a little bit to fit my own mindset. For example, if I want a sweet, I simply add it into one of my meals. Ido not eat seconds, and I do not take whole 'S' days (yet.) I have been around the block diet-wise, and I realize that as soon as I see No S as a 'diet' where...

I'm estimating a total of 3-4 days (I actually lost track of when I last posted here) of SUCCESS on the No S Diet!! I actually forget I'm doing it, it's just no big deal. :) I got on the scale this morning, and it gave me three different readings. I hate that broken down thing. I'm not going to let ...

I made it the first day

Day One:
Success! I'm really excited I'm finally succeeding at something healthy. :)Meals were small, spaced exactly four hours apart and I cut out nighttime eating. Wish me luck for the rest of the times!

Let's talk timing -- in very approximate terms, because I think trying to pin these down to a specific schedule would be a very bad idea! At the same time, newcomers may wonder about how long we're talking about, here. Very roughly, I'd say that each of these phases takes (at least) several months....

You guys are right

I think you're probably right. I haven't been doing No S for that long, and I wouldn't even know what to moderate. Besides, I've discovered that I really appreciate the structure of three meals a day, as opposed to the screwed up way I was dancing around meal times before. That's what caused me to y...

Can I join?

Can I join this? I haven't been doing No S for very long, but I am determined to change my eating habits and become healthier. I am trying to establish habit with this! :D Today is officially my first day back after being gone for. . .about three months. . .? lol

Thank you, guys! These are some awesome tips. I've found that when I stuff my plates full, my total calorie amount comes out to approximately 2,000 calories, still lower than when I was snacking all day. The plates I use are small. I agree with the point that changing eating habits bit by bit is eas...

Standard meal size?

What constitutes a meal for you? I'm having trouble knowing exactly when to stop eating at designated meal times, and I was just curious to know how big of a plate am I suppose to be having? (I haven't read the No S book yet, so I'm kind of ignorant when it comes to general rules for this diet.) I k...

It feels like Phase 1 will never end for me, but then again I'm new to this diet. I just want to be at Phase Three already, but patience is key.

I tried it yesterday and it didn't work that well. I might try it again just to make sure, or just stick to plain Vanilla S. You're actually right, the hunger was a big problem for me, but I'd like to work around that. :)

Two meals instead of three

I have a question for all of you: Would it still be No S if I decided to only eat two meals instead of three? I was considering cutting out lunch, and eating my dinner around 7pm. This would be my mod for No S. Would this hurt my metabolism, if I eat a big enough breakfast? Any replies would help! A...

lol I thought I would lose tons of weight on the Fast Five Diet, but instead retained a WHOLE bunch of water, and probably a lot of weight, as well. I love to fast, but I figured the thing that brought me into the No S Diet was the fact that I love to sit and eat complete meals. Any other diet calls...

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and diet

:D Hi everyone, I'm brand new here (just signed up a few minutes ago) and I'm really excited about beginning the No S Diet. I tried it a few months ago in the summer, but simply stopped for no apparent reason. I loved the way it taught me portion/self control, and encouraged the 'stop snacking' aspe...
