You need to have the image on the internet somewhere. Then you do this:

Code: Select all

[img]http://www.host.com/myimage.jpg[/img]
where obviously the web address that you include between the img tags is the address of your actual image, not the fake one that I put there. :)

Real whipped cream made of cream, not hydrogenated corn syrup. So you guys just eat heavy whipping cream? Whipped, not whipping. :) You can buy it in a spray can already whipped, or you can buy whipping cream and whip it yourself using a mixer. Personally, I opt for the spray can every time.

You can do the cat/cow yoga stretch, this is when you get down on all 4s, and then alternate: breathe in - arch your back towards the floor breathe out - arch your back towards the ceiling 5 repetitions of this is a good back stretch. Also, you could try lying on your back on a mat, and hug your kne...

I agree with everyone else - you look to be at a good weight already, that's probably why you're not seeing much movement. But if it makes you feel better, I loaded your list of weights/dates into Excel and applied a trend line to it. The trend line starts at 149.5 and ends at 148, so there is a slo...

It's up to each individual to define that line, I think. For me, I don't consider Honey Nut Cheerios to be a sweet, but I do consider Froot Loops to be one. However, I do find if my cereal doesn't have enough fibre in it, I get hungry quite far ahead of lunch time. I try to eat a high fibre cereal f...

Amazon earnings link is broken

I found the link on one of your pages which links to a page amazon_earnings.cgi (or something along those lines) where you say we can view what others have bought through your Amazon store. However, it's a blank page! I wonder if it only works for you (Reinhard) because you're an administrator of yo...

Yesterday I had two. We had a free lunch at work, where I filled my plate and ate a nice balanced meal. However, there was also a platter of huge cookies, and normally I would have had one after the lunch. But I didn't. In the evening, we went out to the movies. We have some passes that offer 2 admi...

Joe, I'll look into it! I think it would be easy technically, and I see the rationale, I just want to be careful about adding seldom use options. The Sunday start is the conventional calendar paradigm, and I'm not sure how many people would want to break from that (anyone else out there, let me kno...

If you can eat at work, you could delay breakfast and have it at work instead of having it at home before you leave. That way you wouldn't have to wait so long between meals.

Ah, the quota of 7 is a great idea. I think you mentioned that before but I'd forgotten. That definitely does increase the incentive.

I don't know if I want 7 in the non-work columns but I can set my quota differently if I so choose. :) I'll try that tomorrow and see how it goes.

I just started trying the personal punch cards, and the first day, it worked great. The second day (today), not so much. Reason - I never got around to filling out the card! I have 2 tasks listed under WORK, but I meant to do (and actually did, too) much more than 2 tasks. On the home side my list i...

You say in your post "besides going for long walks outside", but why? Long walks outside are quiet for your neighbours, free, and give you fresh air and Vitamin D. I like to listen to audiobooks while I walk, or music, to liven it up. I find walking in silence to be a little boring.

Hey Phayze, are you the person who asked me for "Healthy Planet" cafepress store? I used to run a website called "Healthy Planet" which had an associated cafepress store, but then we changed our name to "Talk Healthy".

Can you find a place in front of a mirror where you can do your SG to see if your knees are going out over your toes? I don't know much about SG, but I know for traditional weight-lifting squats, you're supposed to focus on sticking your butt out behind you, and your shins should stay pretty much ve...

I run a phpBB board too and I found that most of my spammers were coming from the same host domain. I IP identified them before deleting their accounts, and also noted what email address they used to sign up. I banned those domains, and now I haven't had a spammer in months.

Or if you want to pay, audible.com has an excellent service. $15/mo (approx) for one book per month. Or pay as you go. There's a more expensive service that lets you get 2 books per month, but I don't know how much that costs, because I don't use that one.

I'm still kind of around. :)

I haven't moved yet, so no real urban rangering yet - but I am taking the stairs one story when I go for lunch, which is a step in the right direction, so to speak. ;)

The urban rangering will begin October 24!

Hi, I'm new

We just bought a new house, which is 3 km from my office. I'm planning to become an urban ranger once we move. Right now it takes me 30-40 minutes to drive to work, so the move is definitely going to be an improvement. I won't be shovelgloving or No-S-ing, though. I'm thinking urban ranger & traditi...
