I just about never drink alcohol. My parents are big drinkers, and ending up like that just doesn't appeal to me. If I am to drink, I like wine. The only rule I have with wine is when the bottle is opened, the wine needs to be finished that day. With that said, I NEVER drink wine alone.

Does mowing the lawn with a power push mower count as walking? Probably not. Did the mower thing for an hour. Rain began and ruined the walking plans.

The only interesting thing to note is that I did the crunches while on a conference call. It was definitely value added to those boring calls.

So far, I'm still maxing at 100 crunches at the end, though if I wanted to, I probably could do more. I am "feeling the burn" pretty good after 50, and I push through it to 100. Considering the max for week 4 is 60, I'm still considering myself ahead of the game... :)

I guess you'll sweat more because you don't create a "head wind" on the treadmill. I'm not doing too well on the program. It's been hard to find a consistent time to do so. What about going to a park to walk, as opposed to walking to a specific destination? I drive 15 minutes to the park that I UR at. You can also walk on your lunch break. You still get the same benefits without needing to sack your car :) I only work four hours in the evenings so I don't get a break....

Besides the fact that I know it is heavier, I went up from 8 lbs to 10 lbs, and the 10 lber didn't slow me down at all. Doing the back scratchers was a bit more work, but I was able to do my entire routine with barely noticing a difference. Perhaps it would make more sense for me to jump up to 12 lb...
