Hello, everyone! Thank you so much for your responses. I've decided to stick with No S, since I really think it's the most logical plan and the one I will be able to make into a lifestyle versus calorie counting. I also love that it emphasizes a "normal" relationship with food. That is such an impor...

Hello, all. I apologize in advance for the length of this post. I have really been struggling with my body image and weight recently and could use some advice. Bjalda, I'm very much a perfectionist too. I've had a tendency to quit and start over after messing up, but I'm not doing that this time. And you're definitely right; veggies are not that big of a deal. ;-) I love HabitCal, but it frustrates me how the tiniest slip-up can lead to a red day, when the...

Question About Seconds
Okay, I'm probably way over-analyzing this, but I've finally been having success with No-S (meaning I've actually been able to follow the rules), so I don't want to blow it over something silly. My question is, does it count as seconds if you're eating dinner with your family, and there is a plate o...

Would this count as a sweet?
Okay, so I just started a new job working children at an after school program, and they're constantly coughing and sneezing, so I've started sucking on Hall's Defense candies which are super high in vitamin C and help ward off cold and viruses. But they are sweet just like a regular candy. There is ...

Yeah, I figured as much. Even though it has water in its name, it's just too sugary. Oh, well. Another thing is, I generally try to avoid sugar free gum/mints because artificial sweeteners trigger migraines for me, so I would just get regular mints, but would those be considered a sweet since they h...

Hi, everyone!
I'm curious. Has anyone here had an improvement in health from following the No S Diet? I'm referring to blood pressure, triglycerides, etc. I feel like eating this way has multiple benefits.

Hi, everyone! I have been gone for a while, but I'm back now, and I'm ready to recommit. My main reason for coming back to No S is the sane relationship with food I hope to achieve. That, and I want to be healthy. Weight loss is nice, and I think it will happen, but it's no longer my primary focus. ...

This may sound silly, but the No S Diet book was involved in a pivotal moment in my life a couple of weeks ago. On Halloween, my boyfriend proposed to me. I've read recently that after working out, it's necessary to consume food and/or drink to help muscles rebuild. Does that mean that a person should eat one of the three allotted meals after a workout, or is there another way to meet this requirement?

I don't quite understand why you think your meal "should" be enough. If it doesn't make a dent in your hunger, it's not enough food. Your true hunger is the measure, unless you have a health problem.
