To my later question about “endangered adrenalines†--- didn’t mean to confuse the issue, sorry. Many times I don’t sleep in and get up at 6:30. If I then eat at 11:00, would that somewhere hurt my body if I, say, do that every day... Byron Richards, CCN, (“Mastering Leptin†and “The Le...

Thanks for your responses! I contacted Wellnes Resources (the leptin diet books/website) about having breakfast later in the morning or at noon. They advised me to eat breakfast not later than 1-2 hours after getting up in the morning to avoid stressing the adrenaline gland. Other socalled health e...

I get up about 6 AM and rarely eat breakfast. I eat at noon and 7 PM. If I do get hungry before noon, I have brunch and dinner at the usual time. I rarely get hungry between meals but if I do, I ignore it.

I was nauseated every day throughout both pregnancies, but it was only bad first thing in the morning. Every pregnancy is different and there is a wide range of normal exp...

We may have more leisure time, but most of us are less active. This is largely due to labor saving devices. When I was growing up it took more movement to accomplish a lot of our daily activities. You got out of the car to manually open the garage door; laundry was usually hung on a line to dry; you...

As for the piece of pie, I agree with ironchef. Sounds like it was completely worth a red day!

Re: 5:2 diet (not really a NoS question)

basically you eat whatever you like for 5 days, and instead of two S days, you actually fast for two days (500 calories for women). My problem is overeating, so eating whatever I like for 5 days didn't work. The premise is that you'll eat 'normally' for 5 days and then the calorie deficit on 2 days...

I think all of the U.S. is obesogenic. There are very few times or places where eating isn't allowed, if not encouraged. It's not only junk food.
