I do this on Wednesdays when I have yoga which means I leave the house at 6:30 pm and am not back til 8:30 pm. I don't want to have a full stomach at yoga so I have a small plate of food about 5, and then a small plate of food at 8:30 when I get home.

Re: Feels like home

I love the quote, "have nothing in your home that you don't believe to be beautiful or know to be useful." William Morris said that, I also think it's a far more useful approach - I read Marie Kondo's book with the same thought in the back of my mind as Gingerpie - a lot of useful stuff in my house...

My strategy at the moment is not to overthink it, in fact, try not to dwell on it too much, just fill my three plates generously and enjoy them and then move on. Keeping busy helps. :)

Thanks, guys! Had a kind of crazy S day yesterday, as we had company. Going to try to be a bit more reasonable today. Will be out of the house this afternoon, to visit my sister-in-law at the hospital, which helps.

Keep focusing on what you did well, and give yourself time to tackle the most difficult moment. It's probably going to take some trial and error to find what works. Also, excellent Oolala advice for really difficult moments on a recent comment on this check in thread:https://everydaysystems.com/bb/v...

I'm sorry to hear you're having to go through all this. It must be really hard to find an equilibrium with those meds. I hope you do!

Good job on not letting a few biscuits derail you from the rest of your day. I have some problem foods like that, too. Just better to get in the habit of not buying them and not having them around.

I do Yoga with Adriene, too! Are you doing her Revolution series this month?

Good for you on getting your swimming in and don't be too harsh on yourself for a red day - it took me months to figure out how to eat around my yoga class and I'm sure you'll figure out what kind of breakfast you need to sustain you through swimming (which does seem to create extra hunger, in my op...
