Hi auto, just checking in and catching up on your thread and so much of it rings true. Especially the cyclical struggle. Any fellow vanilla NoSers?

Hi ladies and gentlemen, Just wondering if there are any people around who are following vanilla NoS at the moment? I’m finding reading about all the different mods and tweaks very distracting. It makes me question the whole point of NoS so would be fabulous to be able to follow some vanilla NoS jou...

Hi auto, just catching up a bit. So glad all went well with fowerpup!
And I hear you about kids and school. Mine are still young and in preschool and reception (not sure what the equivalent is in the US) and they also react very differently to being off.

So glad to see you here!

I’ve just come back to this so I’m not a newbie in that I know it works really well for me but I am in terms of having to get back into the habits from a similar permasnacking habit - I have a toddler and a baby and am home too so feel your pain. I find it really hard not to eat the leftovers of...

Traffic school - ouch! I remember having to do it and they didn’t allow me to bring my breastfed baby to it so she had to starve it out as she wouldn’t take the bottle - most stressful day that year but we all made it through and I actually learned a few things at this involuntary refresher.

Baked apples sound amazing. Do you literally just stick an apple in the oven? (Obviously I’m not much of a cook)

Thank you auto! I was lucky to meet a really good group in my antenatal classes and we see each other a lot, which is amazing for my health really except for the toddler sweets, ha! I’m so proud as I made it through both days without any snacking or sweets or seconds although my plates were intere...

Thank you both! Imogen, that’s good to know that someone else is in the same place 🙌. Also that not everyone is bored reading this. I’m still breastfeeding so no caffeine for me but music is such a good idea - I massively underuse music. I might just about have made it today. The next two day...

It’s three hours into the first day and all I want to do is to stuff my face. We had 4 nightfeeds of the littlest one last night and a 5am wake up of the DD1 thanks to daylight saving. When I am tired I find it especially hard to stay strong and not give into unlimited chocolate and other sugary t...

Wow there is so much going on here and I had lots of excuses not to follow NoS - and it seems I took them all. I’m on it again as of today as I am ballooning. I know it will be a real struggle in the first week but I just need to do it now. Every time I drop off the check in is when I stop doing i...

I agree that the timing needs to be right. I gave up caffeine 3years ago when trying to get pregnant and the withdrawal was crazy. But I never went back on it and my husband gave it up with me and now he has some about twice a month when he needs and extra kick - he says that is probably how we are ...

Auto, I bet you are an amazing teacher! Weirdly, I don’t remember the teachers with the easy classes as great but the ones that ask for a lot of work but were fair and took an interest in us as people.

I have to catch up on your thread to find out how your month of no alcohol went! I missed it.

Hello! I’m back from our vacation and had a successful N day yesterday. In fact I left some of my dinner as the portion - within NoS aka on a plate - was ridiculous. I loved our vacation and ate what I wanted but we also racked up lots of walked kilometers and I didn’t gain anything. Thank you f...

We are getting rid of loads and the house is still full of stuff. Considering something much more radical but am not quite there yet.
