Third time's a charm

Here we go again. Back up to 115kgs.

This time I have extra incentive. Diagnosed with NAFLD, gastroenteritis, reflux, and back problems also likely related to weight.

Let's see if I can keep it up for longer this time!

Wow, contratulations! That's platinum -- not even a single NWS day (non- weekend S-day) Platinum it is then! The habit cal's really helped actually. This month won't be quite so perfect though - I'm calling today an S day because it's my birthday, so I had a small piece of treacle tart with dinner ...

I won't be updating this thread any more - rather I will use habitcal. This was a very useful way to start off on the diet. I have now lost 2kg since coming back from holiday, so I'm back in the black ;-)

Thanks for all the help and support people.

Back from holiday!

So, end of Holiday was Monday. I gained just under 1kg from five weeks of excess - mainly because it was so hot everywhere that we didn't eat very much! Hawaii, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok - we were eating twice a day, and drinking lots and lots of water! Tuesday was a failure - I tried, and failed. T...

I have to admit, I don't think a lot about this. Unlike hunger for food, I think thirst actually is a good mechanism to regulate water intake (unless you're hiking in the desert or running a marathon). The one reason I might advise being more systematic about it is if it helps distract you from the...

Starting Again

So I started No S in November last year, got down to a sensible weight in February, and then somehow faded out. Starting again. Hints and encouragement gratefully accepted.
