This month is going to be insane. (We just bought a new house and have to fill out tons of paperwork this month to get a loan AND we are putting our old house on the market Thursday...so we get to live in a staged house for more than a month. Joy.) Hoping for at least some green. 1 S-Day 2 N Good St...

I'd like to quote a little bit of Star Trek for you.

I find this exceptionally motivating. Star Trek: The Next Generation - "Elementary, Dear Data" Pulaski: "To feel the thrill of victory, there has to be the possibility of failure. Where's the victory in winning a battle you can't possibly lose?" Data: "Are you suggesting there is some value in losin...

This is how the first couple of weeks were for me. I wouldn't consider myself a sugar junkie by any means but not having those little shots of it throughout the day really made me feel crappy. And I didn't have the energy to do the exercises I was used to. But...that went away. My body got used to i...

I looked up the competitor eating thing and they drink a gallon of water in 30 seconds to train!!! That's crazy! No wonder they have stomach expansion! I don't drink anywhere near that fast (and I'm sure none of you do either) so I feel safe that my water intake isn't affecting my stomach size. I ha...

I'm excited to try this. My goal is to make my Sunday S days a little tamer - so that Monday doesn't make me want to eat the kitchen sink. 1 N :D 2 N :? Hibachi. I did very good compared to pre-NoS. Only a few bites of salad and no soup. It was the rice that did me in though I had plenty left over f...

Just wanted to give an update. I decided last night to try to class again but this time to eat dinner beforehand (which is really early dinner for me - like had to eat it before leaving work - early). I made it a small dinner. The results were not good. I got cramps and felt a little sick to my stom...

Thank you, everyone! I really appreciate all of your suggestions. I think I will try just a small bit of food pre-excersize (I was think a bite or two of protein bar would help) and hope that helps. And I'm also going to try a "purple cow" just because at some random moment. I have never heard of su...

Working out with the No S Diet

I already have a great workout system in place that keeps me active 4-5 days a week. I do mainly Les Milles group classes like BodyCombat (cardio) and BodyPump (weights) with some swimming and yoga thrown in for good measure. My question is, do you guys ever work out with more than the shovelglove? ...
