Three meals a day & no snacking definitely satisfies my appetite better than snacking & trying to compensate with smaller meals. And limiting sweets to S days puts a limit on the highly-rewarding foods while still allowing me to enjoy them.

Thanks for posting this.
I didn't really learn anything, but it was fun having "them" confirm my ideas about where I stand.
I need to exercise more according to anybody's health recommendations.
My reddest area was "Food Reward". Recently I posted in my check-in thread about this very topic.

One of the things I discovered a long time ago is that a lot of the "naturally slim" people I know personally are very unhealthy. The main reason they remain thin is that they have lousy digestive systems and can't enjoy eating nearly as much as I do. I must confess that even today when I see someon...

I, too, really appreciated this article, especially: I hated the unconscious aspect of all of this, the self-medicating, nonstop orality of it all. Funny you should mention the "sin" aspect. Recently I did some research on gluttony and read that St. Thomas Aquinas way back in the 1200s wrote that there are 5 ways to commit the sin of gluttony: 1. Eating too soon or too often (grazing, anyone?), a waste of time 2. Seeking delicacies or better qu...

I seldom ever actually took seconds either. I was more likely to pile 3 portions on my plate the first time. Starches & combo foods were my biggest downfall. Pizza is probably my worst demon.
