Hi ironchef,
Congrats for an all green month with consistent exercise too. Wow!
Though I have faced successes, either dinners or lunches have been especially large and I have not been exercising for the past 1 week. But then, I see yours and get inspired.
It will happen.
Cheers!!!

A success finally!! Succeeding on a Monday is a big thing for me. I decided that I needed to keep a food diary to log what all I ate so that I am not afflicted with a sense of deprivation. Logging the amount of calories I'm eating helps keep me in check. Though today is an S day, my brother is not h...

An overall fail day yesterday. I did only take 3 meals but at lunch I was soo hungry that I only picked part of the lunch. Then realized that I only took half my lunch and was still hungry. Got the rest too but it counts as seconds. Stupid of me. Didn't snack otherwise and no sweets at all either. B...

Phew! I actually used to calorie count and that is the reason I decided to reduce fat in my meals to add that extra sweet treat. And that is the reason I can estimate the exact amount of grams of cheese. Haha. I am gradually adding fat back into my diet. Added it at breakfast. Let's see. My go to dr...

Thanks guys! :D I thought that milky drinks, or any sweet drinks, were part of the sweet and therefore, not to be had. But I think a nice, hot cup of coffee or tea would help. It should help tide me over. I will also see if I can add more protein to my meals. Breakfasts aren't a problem, and ...

Unable to stick to NoS: Help Needed!
I am having very little luck in Vanilla No S. I always feel hungry and what's more, at each meal I am unable to eat more than I am used to. If I do, I feel overstuffed. For example, my typical breakfast is two pieces of whole wheat toast (dry) with a small tomato, an egg, and either a medium roasted...

Good advice from everyone. But I have a different suggestion. Try and answer these questions. 1. When did you start to go off track? 2. What were you feeling, overall, when you started to go off track? 3. Are you constantly frustrated, under a lot of stress, undergoing a major change in your life, o...

I have only been following this for 6 days of which 2 were S days. I did fail 2 days but I am happy to report that my sweet cravings have diminished. Yippee!!! For the past two days, I have not felt too bad about not eating sweets. I do eat fruits but then I love the freshness of fruits. Though I wa...

I'm not surprised that people scoff at NoS. But even with one week under my belt, and not a completely successful week at that, I can recognize the benefit from this. NoS is beginning to teach me about the habits of my own body. I have already learned that if I skimp at breakfast, I will be plagued ...

I have an enormous sweet tooth and am practically in the same boat. But I'm afraid that if I skip the no sweet rule, I will balloon up. :( And so what if you have a compliance problem. You know that it is a problem, that solves half of it. So my advice is that you try to eat some fruit after lunch/d...

I don't want to have them this weekend at least. I think I need to feel like I deserve it. With just one day of no S, I don't think I deserve a snack. Plus, snacking is not too much trouble for me personally. I can go days without snacking. So I thought it would be nice to set myself into a routine....

So it does get easier. Yayyyy!!! That does help, you know. My issue is craving savory snacks (crisps and all kinds of fried stuff) when nervous or habitual sweet eating. I say habitual because now I have associated the end of any meal with a sweet. Meal doesn't end unless I have something sweet. But...

Well, I suppose I can do that. Added this to habical day before yesterday. Failed yesterday. Gah! The funny thing is that I always get up on time. Always. It is ridiculous. I am supposed to wake up by 8 AM to 8:30 AM. So irrespective of whether I went to bed at 12 or at 4 AM (it has been known to ha...

Just Started! This is hard
I just started the NoSdiet because I was eating chocolate and cookies daily! The snacking wasn't that bad but it was increasing slowly.
But it is just so hard. Has anyone else faced this problem and on the first day? I'm already missing my lunchtime chocolate.
Hopefully, it will get easier.

Is this allowed?
I am new to habitcal and shovelglove. Originally, I used to do at least 10 minutes of exercise per day, gradually increasing it by 5 minutes each month. It worked for me until I got too busy at work. Going back is challenging. So I thought I would use shovelglove. However, I don't have the physical ...

Is there a system to get me to bed on time
My biggest concern these days is getting to bed on time. A change in this habit would help yield hundreds (ok I'm exaggerating!) of positive results.
I was wondering if there was already a system for this?
