Hi there. As long as the beverage isn't a sweet (like a frappuccino from Starbucks, for example), it's allowed between meals. If you're really struggling to make it to your next meal, even a non-sweet caloric drink, like a glass of milk, an unsweetened latte, or similar, is okay.

Also, a microwaved baked potato with a bit of garlic sauce and a salad is a lovely, warm, filling winter lunch. Super easy to do at work, especially because our microwave has a setting just for spuds. :)

I am not doing well this month. I've been all over the place emotionally. I'm going to keep plugging away. My church is beginning a lenten period on Saturday, and I'm hopeful that having those guidelines to follow will help as added reinforcement.
