Thanks for the support and kind words! Linda, I really do feel a bit of relief. The day didn't break me and I'm just so thankful my reaction was kindness and not anger towards myself. To be honest I was very concerned how I would react when I no longer had a "perfect" habitcal, since I am a recoveri...

So true!

Linda, sorry to hear about your friend. I have a "friend" with similar tendencies. It's tough b/c like you, our children are friends.

When in doubt, kill them with kindness.

It was going to happen sooner or later, and it happened today! My first RED day. I am proud of how I am not shaming/degrading myself with negative self-talk. I am marking it and moving on! I was at a conference all day, and the lunch was served to us. They had chicken fettuccine, a bread stick, and ...

Sorry to hear you had that response, but it is a normal response from your body if you skip meals. Like oolala53, I had the same reaction. No S is the middle way, restricting is one extreme and over eating is the other. Would it help if you committed to 3 meals a day for 5 days, and see how you feel?

Strength training is awesome! I second ironchef's suggestion of your DH seeing a trainer for form and maybe even a workout schedule. I am so thankful that I sought out help with kettlebells. Oh Linda, your elliptical workouts just got a whole lot better!!! You will not be able to get off that machine once you get started with podcasts. If you have a specific interest/hobby, you can search in iTunes or Stitcher to find ones that interest you. I don't know what I'd do without my podcasts!

The only thing that makes me think of the PB being too much is fat loss. It was satisfied for many hours, but I was absolutely hungry for dinner time. Thank you for helping me question my beliefs/diet brain. It's something that just won't go away for good, the pesky thing!

Yes, one of my absolute favorite things about this "diet" is that it is unobtrusive. I have been doing this for four weeks, and not even my husband knows. I prefer to keep it to myself because once I "tell the world" about my next big diet plan, it tends to blow up in my face. This way of eating is ...

I find that eating regular breakfast, lunch, and dinner seems the most socially appropriate schedule.
