I remember my first few months feeling relief of going back to the sanity of N days. My S days were not overly wild or anything, but I do remember being thankful that Monday was just around the corner and the extra food would soon be gone and I would be feeling much better with 3 meals/day for 5 day...

Hi! I haven't checked in forever, but need to come back for some accountability. I did vanilla No S for 10 months but the stress of the holiday season led me back to food craziness and calorie counting. Thankfully I only stayed on that crazy train for about a month, but it's been a tough time gettin...

krawford13 - I have gone through something similar just a month ago. I went back to counting calories for about 30 days. It made me absolutely crazy. It was a great reminder for me how amazing No S is. Simple, normal, and completely natural. I've been doing it since Feb. 2015. Glad you found your wa...

Hi there! I also started on a Friday. I didn't tell my husband about No S either. There was no explanation necessary because I was just eating like a normal person! :) I do think he was surprised when I did sit down to supper and eat what I made for him and my son and not make my special diet food f...

I've had a similar experience as you catservant and Anniekat. I've been bordering overweight with my highest weight 15 lbs heavier than I am now. but I've also been 15 lbs lighter than I am now too. My desired weight is 5-10 lbs lighter than my current weight. I was doing a lot of intense kettlebell...

Congrats on the weight loss Linda! No S is really so amazing. It seems to simple to work, but it's just plain old normal eating that fits into our lives so beautifully! I hope the time at the waterpark went well. Happy Mother's Day, enjoy your oatmeal! I am feeling the same, after having a fu...

Thanks everyone! One thing I realized right away was how much food was being offered to us and how SEDENTARY we were all being for those three days. It just didn't make sense. I love the ritual of drinking coffee too. There is something about the smell, the sound of it dripping, the warmth.. I love it! :)

I was going to try to check in daily, but the wonderful thing about the No-S diet is that it just goes along and becomes routine so easily. Love to hear this! I was having a similar thought. Sorry to hear you had that response, but it is a normal response from your body if you skip meals. Like oolala53, I had the same reaction. No S is the middle way, restricting is one extreme and over eating is the other. Would it help if you committed to 3 meals a day for 5 days, and see how you feel?
