Praise for NO S in another blog
I wanted to share this blog post that gives NO S praise! Love to hear how Reinhardt is getting credit in so many places! The entire article is also very good, and encourages how and why a NO S type approach is so successful. http://www.eatlikeanormalperson.com/how-to-stop-overeating/ Here is the spe...

I second the having a backup protein source on hand if that portion of the meal is not tasty enough to finish, my go to is a slice of sprouted grain bread toasted with naturally peanut butter, or skip the bread and have a spoonful of PB right out of the container! I am very aware of how a meal that ...

I don't think I lost much weight for the first year of doing NoS because my plates were piled high of rich food and my drinks were sometimes high in calories (mochas) but my habits were rock solid and I was free from my previous constant obsessing about food/weight. Linda This is my plan of action....

From Cedar: "my rule is eat until full 3 times a day. Walk away from each meal not wanting to eat more..it doesn't mean absolutely stuffing myself so I'm uncomfortable but eat enough without "trying NOT to eat too much". LOVE. THAT. I think one thing that feels sometimes too restrictive is the one p...

I have modified no s like a few others (3-0-7 girl) to include one small sweet per day with a meal instead of taking weekend s days. I did have some success over a few month period with a recent nightmare of a break from no s (see my earlier post today) and am now back. I know that this mod can be a...

lpearlmom, very cool to see someone here who has been to culinary school! I work part time as a personal chef and this issue is sometimes a problem for me as well. Although I have not been with no s very long (and recently had a fall of the wagon calorie counting nightmare - see my post from earlier...

Coming from a family where I am convinced my Mother has Orthorexia to the point I never know what she can or cannot have as it changes with every "new" nutrition study, I cannot get farther away from this line of thinking. Balance is key in my opinion. I have been on that ride before, it is not fun,...

I was doing well for a about 4-5 months on No S, lost some weight (9-10 pounds) with a few tweaks to vanilla that seemed sustainable for me. I was settled in and happy with the slow progress. BUT when weight loss slowed/stalled for the past few weeks, and I was impatient for things to move faster, I...

What's your personality type?
I was curious what personality types some of you are who have found success with the no s diet, either vanilla or with mods? I am an ESFJ (caregiver). I have read some personality types to better with certain types of weight loss plans over others, wondering if there is a trend for those who have fo...

My "407 No BS" Plan
My apologies for anyone offended by the title of this post, I promise it is not an abbreviation for what it seems.... I am posting for the first time here and want to say that this site has the most kind, supportive and encouraging group I have seen! I have been so influenced by Reinhard's no-nonsen...
