For me, it's always the "I am never going to eat this again!" restrictions, even if they are for health reasons. I am much better off "choosing" to not eat something today. Maybe tomorrow I'll eat it, but I'll worry about that tomorrow.

I still have to tell myself that a pint of ice cream is not a meal, and that's one of the reasons I need to stick with three meals a day, every day because my Saturday and Sundays always lead me right back to that habit. Best of luck to you!

Welcome, Bdcava! I do eat a paleo diet this mostly low-carb but only on green days. It's a great compromise for me, especially as my husband eats an autoimmune paleo diet all days of the week. I hope No S is as enjoyable for you as for me.

I struggled with the plate or bowl servings because I either like everything mixed together or completely separate—depending on what I am eating. I find it easiest to just use my digital scale to measure out my calorie-dense foods. Less anxiety for me.

I do! All are prescribed by my functional MD. I take Thorne Research brand Vitamin D3/K2 tincture, Thorne Research Bio-Gest digestive enzymes, and Natural Calm magnesium supplement. I may add a selenium supplement after my next labs come back. A good and needed supplement can be a lifesaver.
