fail Had a snack today but I don't care haha. My mum bought some beautiful tony little snacks from the new local Italian shop. Had a awesome workout today also. Free weights and then 500m rowing sprint. I think I'm finally starting to find a natural pattern for my eating: no breakfast as it just ma...

Thank you, lpearlmom. I really have fell off the wagon this week. It's probably to do with the stress of sorting out my new job, working and increasing the intensity at the gym; mainly I feel that I'm comfort eating because I'm a bit nervous (and excited) about starting my new job (physiotherapist) ...

I've been super busy the last couple of weeks with the new job, even more busy this last week because I have been offered a new job in my chosen profession. A big step for me as this time roughly 10 months ago we all thought I wasn't going to survive much longer, let alone become fitter than I was b...

Hey, oolala53. I always struggle to eat before 11AM. When I'm not working I naturally want to eat at about 12noon but alas, work gets in the way and I can easily go without eating until 2-3PM.. If I eat when I get up (roughly 8AM) I feel physically sick. Maybe it's a habit I can get out of and get u...

So, I was actually pretty good over the Easter weekend even though it was my S days and Easter I ate relatively normally. I've also started working again and my schedule is all over the place. I found it hard to do three meals a day and done two instead as I was too lazy to get up earlier to make br...

Re: Help and support needed!

Hello no S-ers. I have started and stopped this for over 3 years and am no thinner. I read the posts and read about people eating celery, and fruit, and running 3 miles and I get discouraged. The reason I picked the No S was because it was three plates a day, and of course the No S part. But I fear...

Today I think I failed I started my new job today, woke up late and didn't have breakfast. I only had a small lunch at work and headed to the gym straight after. Got home and my dad cooked dinner and he always does small portions because he's crap at cooking. About an hour after my dinner I had 2 sl...

Yesterday = success I ate out as I had a date but I controlled myself, didn't order the supersize meal and just ate normally. Wasn't even tempted to have pudding because I was stuffed. Today = a kind of middle ground because I had sushi (the one that comes in tiny little servings on a conveyor belt ...

If it tastes good I eat it. Could be a mosquito burger, McDonald's or something from a 5 star restaurant. I'm probably a food snob but in the opposite way to most. I prefer basic, peasant like food... Stews with cheap fatty cuts of meat, bread etc etc and "look down my nose"'at those who will only e...

S day today. Went well. I'm really starting to get into this and can feel my relationship with food changing. Had a pint of Guinness and 2 shandies and the rest of my drinks were doet Coke. Even though I see it as a succes, it's still an S day and I had seconds. Overall ...

Re: I am back...confession time

It is time for me to return to No S. I thought perhaps I could eat like a "normal" person, but I don't think so. Apparently I need the structure No S provides. Eliminating snacking and all the bingeing I've been doing should solve my problem. Well done on the past weight loss; good luck on the new ...

I try to, but most days I have 1-2 small coffees with 1 tsp of sugar and a drop of milk.

If I'm aching for a snack I have a pint of water and it seems to tide me over till meal time and it's getting easier as time progresses.

Morning! Wishing you a great N day today! Putting off eating early in the day is, as Linda said, likely to backfire, unless you have a very firm plan for re-fuelling at your first meal of the day (even if that's not until 11am or something). You note about the travellers caught my eye - I have chos...

I usually have a piece of fruit with my lunch and dinner (and often breakfast as well) - always just fruit, sometimes it might be dates. We all know our own boundaries with 'dessert' - this is not 'desert' for me - it's just part of my regular meal - I like fruit and it's good for me. I see where y...

I think you have just summed up what I need to do perfectly; I need to eat enough that I'm satisfied and I suppose as I get used to not eating between meals I will realise I don't need to make a mountain of food on my plate. Thanks! :D

3 meals a day plus desert... Does anybody else do this?

Hey everybody, this is my first post. My goal is to lose around 10lb I gained whilst at uni. I've started No S a week ago with the exception of allowing myself a desert after my dinner but I follow the no snacks rule very strictly. I have two decaf coffees a day with 2 teaspoons of sugar and some mi...
