I broke the no surfing rule, and it's only day 2!! :?

This is *HARD*. It's really really hard.

NoS and MILA are all OK though. And I heard back from the Yoga person. I just need to turn up on a Wednesday evening and have a go. If I decide its for me, then I can sign up.

Good for you. Sounds like you're doing really well.

Not having control over what and when you eat can be a real pain, but at least it doesn't mean that its automatically not 'noS friendly'. Afterall, you've not got to ask everyone to cook special foods for you!

HA! I survived my first day of 'workday luddite'! Boy, that was HARD! That was almost as hard as not eating those Twix bars was at the very start of NoS. I'm really glad that it's past 5pm and I can surf again. Yay! MILA :D NoS (so far) :D Luddite :D I also UR'd at lunchtime over to the social centr...

Oh well. As you say, the 'old' you would've eaten the tootsie rolls, then gone on a cereal-killing spree to boot. Good on you for resisting that pesky cereal.

Have a good Sunday Deb,

Well, I had some nice Sweeties this afternoon, but I couldn't finish the whole packet. I don't think I'll finish the whole lot tomorrow either, but I don't want to throw them out! I'm gonna put them in a sealed box at the back of my uppermost kitchen cupboard. Out of sight and (hopefully) out of min...

Friday NoS :D and MILA :D I didn't even take my 'friday evening after 6pm' exception this week. I find Fridays are either easy to get through, cos I can honestly say (NoS Angel sitting on my right shoulder) "just hang on until tomorrow, then it's Saturday and you can eat that if you still want it" OR very hard, as in (little devil sitting on my left shoulder) "What's the difference? Kimmi, don't worry about the '4 S days in a row' thing. This sort of stuff only happens a couple of times a year, and in the grand scheme of things, the 'macro' scheme of things, you won't do yourself or your weight any harm over this little period. Not if you concentrate on your N days, anyhow. I k...

Don't feel you have to write down everything you eat. Some people find it helps, but a lot of us never bother. That's really the point. We learn best from our failures, all of us!! Afterall, it's no good telling a small child NOT to touch something cos it's hot. Of course we still tell them - we want to protect them - but it rarely does any good. That kid just *has* to touch and find out for itself. Sure as ...

Hmmm. Yes. It needs quite a lot of concentration for the first week or so, until it becomes automatic habit!

I had a Fuji-hiro side dish on 'autopilot' during my first week, so 3 cough sweets isn't terrible.

On and upwards though. Good luck!
