Urban Ranger-ing On the Golf Course

My wife bought me a golf pass the first week of July. Except for two weeks during that time I have played 9 to 18 holes of golf 3-4 times a week. I play on two courses: one is 3.3 miles per 18 holes, and the second is not only farther, but also much more challenging due to the topography. I actually...

Not being "successful", but I did limit my snacking today to a glass of milk and chocolate chip cookies. (The Walmart brand, there is something about those cookies...) Skipped 1140 skips with the Power Rope in 15 minutes, used the speed bag for 10- 3 minute rounds, and skipped another 250 skips (tot...

S Day

Today is an S Day. Yesterday was a failer day. But I did manage 1300 skips (308 straight) with the jump rope. Then I practiced on the speed bag. Practiced my "roll punch" for a time.

One way or the other, with the jumpr rope and speed bag, my legs and shoulders are getting a heck of a work out.

Success! Today was a success. It started, as most of my successful days do, with a fairly dense one plate breakfast: four eggs scrambles with onion, spinach and cheese- on a whole wheat tortilla, 3 slices of turkey bacon, and apricot juice. Lunch: not a nutirtional dynamo, a hot dog, some fries and...

GK, you are welcome. I am kind of floating like an amoeba in the ocean of life. Not gaining, not losing, just riding the swells. I am going to concentrate more on eating lo glycemic and being less liberal in thinking anything is OK for a No S meal. I have been eating low glycemic the last few days w...

Well, your No S green looks very good. Fantastic. The smoking will stop eventually if you keep at it. Exercise can be incorporated through the day, walk, Christiaan Barnard suggested parking in the back of the lot and walk the extra distance to the store, mall, etc. It doesn't have to be regimented.

Today was an S Day, a pretty typical one at that.

April, food wise wasn't so good, but I did get 144 miles in on the exercycle, so that makes me happy. Since the last week of January I think I have ridden close to 500+ miles.

An older film, 2003, German made, "As Far as my Feet Will Carry Me". About a German prisoner of war in the Soviet Union who walks to the Middle East after escaping.
