Have to save something for version 3, after all. At first, you may not notice much of a difference. All the old urls still work...

One idea in terms of maintenance is just to focus on the timer. That way not feeling up for a strenuous workout can never be an excuse -- all you have to do is put in that very little bit of time. And once you get started, most of the time you'll get into it.

Welcome! I would fit that salad on your one plate. Excess with a side of salad is still excess. When the salad competes for space with calorically denser, but otherwise less nutrient rich stuff, it does double duty as a positive good and by crowding out the bad. Though I do think it's helpful to sti...

I think it takes a little practice to find the right balance for S-days -- but when you're do, they're great. Though I have to admit, when there are too many of them in a row, I max out. And even after ordinary weekends, though I'm usually pretty contented with how I ate, I'm definitely ready for N-...

Congratulations! That's impressive.

No-s clearly CAN be quick to yield results (I also lost quickly).

More incentive for people on the fence to dive in and give it a shot (though of course, it's important to brace oneself for the probability that it'll be slow).

I haven't read much about this, but I'm sure the 20 minutes is a crude approximation, depends greatly on the individual, and that in any case it isn't some binary all or nothing thing: there's no question that walking less still exercises your muscles, heart and whole body to some degree -- and if y...

I hear you about the two kids who aren't particularly into sleep -- my situation as well.

I once got my 14 minutes in doing squats in the dark while holding the baby to rock her to sleep. It worked -- except I had trouble walking the next day.

10 pounds in four months is plenty. Generally speaking, the slower the pounds come off, the more likely they are to stay off. Why? Because it's an indication that you lost them with moderate, sustainable behaviors.
